Bungie’s release history for D2 history is negative on balance, so they have a negative expectation based on that history. You already acknowledged this when you set the context for your own comment. Yes I’ve played Destiny for years.

Oh stop , the writing is on the wall ! It’s all there in the posts . So anyways people should know by now ….but people will still lose their minds if it does not meet there expectations. Same thing every year . Again most will carry on with life but there will always people choose to be negative over being positive .

If Bungie gives customers a product with issues they will get negative comments and feedback about the game. Again there is a no vacuum where players are choosing to be negative, they are reacting to the product. No need to stereotype.

Just like people who weren’t actively playing after past bad decisions were correctly negative about the effects of sunsetting. You’re making blanket statements about your fellow players that your own context dictates isn’t true. It’s not random, it’s not spiteful, it’s not bandwagoning. It’s based on track record. No one should expect the taken king 2, they should expect beyond light 2. I don’t fault anyone for expressing they aren’t interested in that.

I know that’s not as popular a term as toxic but it’s better by being actually prescriptive. Especially when the term toxic is just used for name calling people who don’t share your opinion.

Nope, 7 years of letdown show us the future. They're very limited and destiny is no longer priority. They also said no more forsaken quality expansions, and I didn't think that was even that good just the best of a bad bunch. For most players the bar is very very low

There have been a few highs in destiny’s history . My expectations are pretty low anyways with video games as a whole with what’s happened in the last 5 years . Who knows witch could be awesome but we have no info yet . Too many people are stuck on D2 for all the wrong reasons, some people who have been here since D1 are still bitter and twisted , then you have the people who love to be toxic , negative and troll 🤷🏼♂️
