Wow, this thread (not the original post) kind of shows the toxic side of the community. Rather than have an actual constructive discussion and staying civil, people (on both sides) immediately resort to “you’re throwing a tantrum” or “you’re just being entitled and selfish”
If I’m being completely honest half of the comments on either side of the argument are entitled, boiling down to “what I say must be what happens, if you disagree you’re just entitled yourself”
Maybe I’m reading too much into it but it’s sad to see the community like this.

Both sides are toxic ....but the fact people's want to be rewarded to be harder and get rolls that won't exist anymore is 100% selfish and failing hard at understanding design and balance The only way you understand is by us explaining every time why it will never happen ....continue making a new topic for it every week and upvotung it....won't change anything because it's a bad idea....

The way I see it, by keeping gear sunset, everyone is affected equally as the gear can’t be used in endgame content for any player. If you reverse sunsetting, the capacity at which people are affected drastically changes. Those who deleted their gear then get the short end of the stick. It’s easy to say “that’s your fault for dismantling them, they could still be used in most content,” but then argument can then become “well if it can be used in most places, why does reversing sunsetting matter” I don’t think that the opinions themselves are necessarily selfish, but the mindset that all other opinions are selfish and invalid.

It's a non argument...because bungie won't do it anyways ...even if there's a new post about it everyday

Oh yeah man, I'm pretty sure there's at least four reply threads calling me selfish for just offering a temporary solution to a massive problem. It's honestly kinda fun to watch.
