I'll do you one better. I've been matched by a team with over 1500 flawless runs on game 1. My trials kd is negative and I've never been flawless. Its clearly flawless matchmaking

it was like that in D1 yet people still played it.

Editado por HollowedWayfarer: 7/12/2021 1:57:57 AMAt least in D1 players could still get loot by simply playing the game mode. There was the loot for available for everyone: normal armor sets, normal weapons, an occasional cosmetic. All earned by playing matches and doing bounties. Then there was the loot for the flawless players only: flawless armor sets (ROI had ornaments), adept weapons, exclusive cosmetics. Only the Flawless players could get this loot. In D2, there is virtually nothing for the more casual folks (Let’s make this clear for the Trials sweats: YOU NEED THE CASUALS IN TRIALS IF YOU WANT THIS GAME MODE TO STICK AROUND. If there aren’t enough people hopping in regularly, then that will only tell Bungie that it isn’t working out and you can kiss Trials goodbye for the second time. There simply won’t be a reason to keep it around if barely anyone plays it). There needs to be incentive for players of all levels to hop in. Keep the ghosts, ships, sparrows, glows and adepts exclusive to flawless rewards, but let things like normal weapons and armor pieces drop at the end of matches randomly and have bounties that give you a random item. Let the passage give you a guaranteed item like it does now based on wins. Add in some new Flawless loot like a seasonal ornament for a weapon or piece of armor that’s unlocked by achieving Flawless a certain amount of times each Season.

Honestly one of the best comments I've seen regarding trials, it sucks that my friends who are negative cant get rewards unless I play with them, because they feel bad "dragging my kd down for their own loot" (even though I just like playing with them). this sort of an idea would let casual players get more loot that they would need and flawless players would be able to flex a little something extra with the ornaments and such. Give both the casuals and sweats some more loot and the playerbase in the gamemode would skyrocket.

Disagree with weapons dropping. Maybe if you get like 5 wins or maybe they have pinnacle bounties Like iron banner does.Just rewarding people the best weapons just for playing kind of makes it another iron banner

Editado por HollowedWayfarer: 7/12/2021 5:36:40 AMWhat the hell is wrong with letting normal Trials loot drop from playing Trials normally? We aren’t talking about Adept weapons, we’re talking about the normal versions. Flawless people already have unique sparrows, ghosts, ships, armor glows, and adept weapons. Let there be something for the non-sweats to chase after.

All I said was I disagree and you downvoted? Why so hostile
-
Yeah but then because of how many people played it there were less sweaty games. Rather sometimes games were more evenly matched. Now it's just mainly higher tier players so it's harder to play a balanced match
-
you have to look at it this way. people have gotten better over time. recovs are more common now so people are going to try harder because money is waiting for them.
-
Also a lot of these "high skill players" usually just use whatever is meta. So the way I see it is going that nullifies said skill. And I wish bungie could do something about recovs
-
That’s the dumbest thing ever 😂 No one will use less effective loadouts just cause someone is butthurt about it. Their skill comes from consistently winning even when facing those loadouts on the other teams.
-
meta is used by high tier players in every game. bungie can’t do anything about recovs.
-
My point is if they are truly the better player they would be able to win with anything not just what's meta/ overpowered. And before you say that puts them at a disadvantage against opponents who are using the meta, as I said of they are really the better player they can do well without it
-
skill level doesn’t trump all things. you can be a better overall player with things like decision making but your guns also matter too.

Editado por NYDIBS: 7/11/2021 9:50:55 PMIn D1 it was random matchmaking. In D2 it’s card (win) based Yes, you had the chance to match sweats in your first game, but bc matchmaking was more forgiving, more people played so you were able to get easier matches more often
-
The loot system was also better in D1. Loot randomly dropped at the end of matches and you had bounties that gave you random rewards.
-
well more people aren’t going to play more unless bungie starts making the loot better. weapons were dropping as god rolls and now they don’t even drop with the same perk combination which makes less people play.
-
it was like that in D1 yet people still played it.
It wasn’t as bad as it is now. Game one should not be just as hard as game 7 that’s ridiculous
-
game 1 is random. so you could get a easy game or you’re gonna have to try.
