Idk man just don't comment if you're going to add unproductive stuff like this. I've done that for 4 weeks, the "try next week" mindset is dumb and wasted time. I now have to focus time on my Titan to get it to Pinnacle when it should have been 1320 2 weeks ago at the least, instead of doing the content I enjoy.

All my characters were 1320 by week 3-4. The system is fine. Just do all your pinnacles especially the +2s

I try to do as many as I can with a full time job, but Presage drops a Far Future everytime, literally everytime, for me as the pinnacle so that doesn't work. Harbinger generally drops weapons, occasionally an armor piece, but mostly weapons. Glad RNG was in your favor, but still, 7-8 Pinnacle opportunities a week shouldn't all be dead for multiple weeks in a row.

We all have jobs buddy. The pinnacle drop system is best for casual players with jobs. I could do a full raid in 40 minutes and get 5 pinnacle drops? That sounds great. And there ar more than just 8 pinnacles for the week

I understand there are more than 8 Pinnacle drops a week, but my point is that I am not going to forfeit more of my time to activities that I don't want to do after not getting the thing I need after 8 attempts. I need 2 items, running 16 activities with multiple needing 3 completions to even get the Pinnacle, and still not getting the drops you need doesn't make me want to do more. Yes, a raid is the best option, however, my raid team now all has babies and jobs so they don't get on much and rarely ever at the same time for more than 30 minutes. Tried LFG multiple times but it hasn't worked out because people just want to be carried or don't know how to play the game. If you don't have a reliable raid team, then the Raid isn't even an option. The main thing I am trying to say is that I shouldn't have to do more than 8 activities a week 9 weeks into the season because RNG has screwed me on drops. I want to spend time on the activities I like, not the ones that are boring or just not fun to play at all (Gambit and Crucible at the moment).
