Grandmaster isn’t for everyone. Making it for everyone defeats the purpose of it being a challenge. Also; if you’re asking Bungie to remove the cap requirement, you’re essentially asking to be a detriment to your teammates. You’d die in an instant. So why would letting underpowered players in be a good idea? Just so that can feel gatekept even further? I see it as a situation where you’d never be pleased, unless the loot was handed to you. Which at that point, what’s the point of the endgame challenge, when there isn’t one? Edit; Since this has gotten some replies, I should make a few clarifications. You have the following: Strikes: 1100 Adept: 1240 Hero: 1280 Legend: 1310 Master: 1340 Grand master: 1360 You have the option as a player to choose the tier of your liking. Asking them to reduce the entry level would only stand to hurt the individual player in question by allowing them to step foot into a space they have no chance at beating. Lowering the odds of success, when everyone in this encounter NEEDS to be at an optimal level. Anyone who’s asking for a power level entry of under 1335 has no idea what they’re talking about. Come correct & know that if you wanna earn an adept gun, in PvE; prep for it. You got over 60 days in this season. If you can’t reach powercap I in that time, you were never a dedicated player to begin with. Go earn the base version of whatever loot it is you’re looking for. Hung Jury, Uzumi, etc. they’re all great guns at base. You don’t NEED the adept ones, unless you’re willing to put in the work to get it.
