Well it’s simple, many people ask the same question or are just simply venting when they come to this app. Plus the population of the app itself is rather small than the groups on Reddit and Twitter. So in short, it’s a waste of resources as it would be a lot easier to to get news out to people if they simply post it on Reddit or Twitter as the population on this app over laps those of other places.

That’s enough salt for the day I’m heading back to Offtopic

People ask the same question because there is no (or no easily accessible) answer. People vent, because there are so many unaddressed issues with the game or the problem above. The population is low because Bungie neglects its own forum even after pushing it with the first game, or the problems above. You're argument is exactly WHY they need to invest in, and interact with people, in their own home. Twitter and Reddit are massive communities, and the people interested in Bungie/Destiny are a very small subset of users there. Just because there are more TOTAL users, means nothing when we are talking about Destiny.

I see your point and I thank you for being diplomatic. What you say is true and I understand what you mean, the issue however isn’t the fact that they ignore the app as the constantly update it and make sure it runs. It’s again about the population. The highest upvoted average is 500 to 600 which is a lot. However, compared to the sheer quantity of people responding to Reddit and Twitter posts and putting their own train of thought is oftentimes much higher than that of this app. I’m not saying that it’s right not to respond at all to those of this community but it definitely makes sense on why they don’t often do.

Diplomatic... sad when even a simple discussion is seen as diplomatic. But of course. I've no reason to be rude. App ≠ Forums, but I see what you're saying. However, I remember when there were posts who passed the limit you're referencing, and still believe that it is the neglect the forums have seen that pushes so many users away and to other sites. They sold this app and forum to us as THE place to come. As an integral part of the game experience. They should double down on that and push to make it so, not be apathetic to it. That's all I'm saying. "If You Build It, They Will Come" and all that jazz.

I have to say thanks because most of the time the responses of individuals on this site are… less then kind. As for the number I gave, it was a ruff estimation :p Perhaps if more people used this site, there would be a larger presence but that sadly isn’t the case.
Sip Tea
I would wager a guess that your feelings on people and their responses might have something to do with your usual haunt, Offtopic. But can't honestly say, I avoid the place like the plague.

Offtopic is actually a pretty good place, especially since people do not really get into any scuffles except for some trolls here and there.

All I know is last time I peeked down there, it was like 4chan lite. Granted that was literal years ago so... forgive the assumptions.

There’s been a whole bunch of restrictions for better and worse…
Sips Tea
Wasn't there a purge a while ago? Like, non destiny related accounts and whatnot?

Yep, lost half the community
Sips Tea
