Future Dungeons need to have their own weapons and armour
I know Prophecy has its own armour, which is a good step forward (it doesn’t really match the theme of the dungeon which is unfortunate) but it’s a shame that pit of heresy and shattered throne don’t.
Nothing is more disappointing than running a dungeon only to get some gear that isn’t even unique to that activity.
Hell, I basically had no interest in running dungeons because of this. Why spend time in a pit of heresy when it will just give some dreambane armour? Why bother playing shattered throne when it will just give some dreaming city armour? I get that they give high stat armour, but couldn’t they have done while still giving them their own armour?
I would love to see future dungeon with armour sets that match the theme of the activity. The gear needs to be worthy of the activity and right now, it isn’t.

Let us fight Darkblade again or find out how to destroy Akka's heart/soul or w/e to destroy the Dreadnaught. Bungie has a gold mine of material, but we'll see what the future holds.

I agree,I really like both Pit of heresy and Shattered throne but have only done both 2 or 3 times because the gear is just destination gear even taken reskinned Dreaming city gear for Shattered throne would've been better.

Just imagine that Eververse is a dungeon. Dungeons drop armor all the time.

4 RespuestasI believe the reasoning would be as simple as “not enough players interact with the activity” more do dungeons then raids sure but still people would get more out of an armour set of it was in the world pool. I too would like more exclusive armour sets to hunt for. Always fun having goals in this game like getting a great armour set I could actually use my prestige trials ornaments on (fun fact, that set isn’t even in the -blam!-ing transmog list.... unless I’m stupid)

3 RespuestasI would think the next dungeon will probably have it's own armor set. There isn't a dungeon on Europa, Tangled Shore or Nessus. I'm hoping the next one will be Europa, I'd be down for Nessus too.

Prophecy didn't even truly get it's own armor set. They pulled a Daito set from Eververse, because of community backlash. Then they promised challenging content would have earnable loot, only to put new emotes and shaders into Eververse from VOG....

1 RespuestaFACTS ! In my opinion there should be more dungeons where you can get some nice weapons or armor. Im even fine to make it a tryhard but its easier to get 2 friends together and hop in instead of get 5 friends for a raid

Would be nice if dungeons got their own exotic weapon. Looking at you Prophecy. Imagine like a Nine themed trace rifle or machine gun that never had to be reloaded.

Or if they cant do that, master worked armor (with non shit stats) and curated weapons. I miss having curated weapons in raids, idk why they stopped.

No, they don't. They need unique gear. That could mean world drops with unique, raid style perks, or just highly desirable perk combos (imagine frenzy on retold tale, but only from shattered throne)
