I had the same issue, however I faced not by an update. I had my PS5 on 'spanish' and changed to 'english uk' after this change the game couldn't pass from the verification content

This needs to be addressed quick. 4 times and counting. Most USA ISPs don't have unlimited data. This will end up costing money to a lot of people in data cap charges. FIX THIS FAST!!!!

Ps5 6 times, twice in the last 2 days. Cannot read game content. Then error verifying installation. Requires full install. It is completely random also. Mostly going into an activity but it also happened at the end of exo challenge too. Apparently I play destiny too much. Because I have had to reinstall it 6 times. This started after season of the splicer started. Please figure this out.

It's the 6th time I have to re-install the game due to the same error, it's a really bad error - I hope you guys can find a way to fix it soon.

This has just happened to me. Complete joke having to re install 70gb.

At least you only have to reinstall 70GB. It only lets me redownload both PS4 and PS5 (160GB) and even with 300Mbit internet, that's a lot of missed gameplay. Someone suggested removing the PS4 version (I'm on PS5) and just running with that installed, but still got the same error. It's happened to me three times now. All completely random.

you don't have to reinstall both. Once the download starts go to queue an remove the ps4 version.
