[b]Return blink to vanilla d1 status.[/b] The rest is a bit of my reason why, as well as a couple ideas I had for blink. [b][u]:;:;:;:;:;:;:;:;[/u][/b] At the risk of tossing Bakris under the bus, Bakris dodge literally does everything blink used to do in d1, but instead does it about 3x better than d1 vanilla blink. Bakris instantly ready’s weapons, which is faster than the original blink, moves faster than blink ever has, has no start up animation, goes into third person, keeps the radar active, breaks aim assist, and is harder for opponents to see or react to. It has everything that was nerfed about blink, but it’s all better than blink ever was, and it doesn’t remove the ability to use normal jumping skills. I don’t care to have bakris nerfed, but blink needs help. Here are a couple ideas I have for it. [u][b]Blink idea 1[/b][/u] Blink: remains a jump ability, but instead is used the same way a player uses Icarus dash, but with the same mechanics as blink (only goes in the direction of current motion). One blink per jump, 3 second cooldown visually apparent on screen. With blink equipped, a warlock has base glide, with no modifiers (no burst glide, strafe glide, etc.) [b][u]Blink idea 2[/u][/b] Blink: functions as it currently does, used by pressing jump while in air. Faster activation speed, faster weapon ready speed after use, 3 uses before cooldown, visible cooldown on screen, and keeps radar during blink. [b][u]Bonus[/u][/b] Astrocyte Verse change: changes class ability to warp, base cooldown 45 seconds, 20 seconds with max recovery. Uses a nova warp maneuver. Can be used in air or on the ground. Can only be used on voidwalker. [u]........................................[/u] Well that’s all I can think of for now. I know it’s a bit out there, especially the astrocyte verse part... but if it gets the creative juices flowing then it’s worth it. Thanks for reading.
