I know that this is a serious issue within my clan and must be becoming a widespread conversation amongst vanilla D2 gamers. We need more vault space or the ability to store items on a separate cloud like server. Where you can transfer items into your “live” game vault.
I understand that I myself am a bit of a hoarder but there’s a method to my madness. My moving target/kill Clip/drop mag/cleanshot IS/range mw nightshade is wrecking in pvp this season. But I’ve almost sharded it numerous times to make space for incoming weapons and armour.
I sharded a masterworked set of Liar’s Handshake yesterday. All those hours put in to get that....wasted now because we don’t have enough room. Some of the most organized clan mates of mine are experiencing the same issue. This needs to be addressed.
You could be generous and just up the size of the vault space we get(btw the GUI for the vault needs a look at too), that would be a HUGE quality of life improvement. Although since Bungie is a business I expect the dudes with the suits spending way too much on -blam!- and blow will want to monetize this. So make that reasonable. Like $5 a year. You’re giving the game we’ve paid hudreds of dollars for each, away for free. Do us old timers a favour and don’t gouge us some more.
Kind Regards,
A main of all 3 classes,
Kapn KroniK

1 RespuestaI need at least 100 free spaces to collect guns i like and then figure out which rolls i like and delete the rest. Note: I've kept every gun that I've ever rolled with dragonfly and its finally paid off this season lol

10 RespuestasPeople who say "just delete old gear" either haven't played for as long as people like you and me and simply don't have the stuff we worked forever for or just play the looter shooter genre wrong IMO. It's a game all about collecting gear and falling back to it whenever you want to. I personally don't touch some guns for up to a year just to find out i love it am glad i never deleted it a year later. Stop trying so hard to be like "slayerage" or people like him. You are not "cool" if your vault is empty, you are playing the game wrong. Vault space NEEDS to increase. It's even one of the only things i and many others would actually gladly pay silver for. It works in games like path of exile which is an excellent f2p game unlike Destiny atm.

6 RespuestasWhy would I need more Vault space? Isn't that what the Postmaster is for?

2 RespuestasI still dont get how people use all 500... I've filled it to like 450 before but no way you use all of that stuff... I even have some nostalgic or fun weapons in the mix and im only at 372 right now... I would honestly just clear any junk out and it'll get a lot nicer.

4 RespuestasOr here’s another idea... just delete the guns for more space....

2 Respuestasi imagine that the trolls that downvote this request just crutch jotunn or felwinters and never try any other loadouts

1 RespuestaThe vault space issue will never be solved. The vault is like a fridge. No matter how big it gets, you'll always find a way to fill it. Now collections? Bungie should just combine the kiosk with it. Having both is so redundant. Collections/kiosk should only give us subpar perk rolls and armor would give us 50 stat rolls since we aren't pursuing them out in the field. (We have to find them first). The pinnacle versions of gear should be tied to activities as a way of engaging the players and revitalizing content. The loot drops should be locked to higher tier perk drops and pinnacle versions of the weapon. Armor obviously would roll higher stat distributions. Problem solved.

2 RespuestasEditado por CAT 5 Hurricane: 5/30/2021 6:28:22 PMI AGREE COMPLETELY!!!!! Bungie changes meta's constantly. Why would I want to grind for the weapon or armor flavor of the month when I can stow God roll's in my vault. When players have 3 characters the vault fills up so fast. When I am playing for 6 hrs straight I want vault space to dump inventory so that I can go back later and try the weapons before deleting. Now I have to guess whether to keep or delete because I have no space. I also hoarded the dungeon armor for later dismantling because they give 6 prisms and 6 enhancement cores. I hover at 500. I also dont want to get rid of sunset weapons for nostalgic reasons. The game has grown so should vault space.

Editado por JasperGTR: 5/31/2021 1:36:26 PMThis is a looter shooter with collections... Did you think this meant that we shoot and obtain loot to keep for a collection? These concepts are drastically different. But leave it to Bungie to mess up that simple thing. They introduce a way to store data with simple bit flags on a user account (collections) to show what the player acquired, but then almost simultaneously making collections worthless for any of the gear rewarded or acquired with random rolls. It's as if the person who made static rolls was working with the single person dev team involved with vault development to create collections which (by itself) would have solved any vault space issues for everyone. But then someone else said - "guys, players don't favor our dual primary system with fixed rolls, even though they finally got reassignable elements, let's take away their ability to select their own elements, bring back random rolls, but don't find a way that collections can be useful anymore. Also - press release - tell the players (on twitter, not on bungie.net), they got what they asked for, and ignore them in the future when they ask for vault space and element flexibility, we already listened to one criticism for the year. We can go radio silent for the next 4 years about vault space. Don't think this will work? Watch this..."

2 RespuestasYou’ll have to complete a series of tedious tasks to unlock the ability to start a quest upon which you will have complete 400 activities, then 400 bounties, then unlock 10 armour pieces from transmog. Then, complete flawless and conqueror titles. Then, and only then will you obtain 10 extra places in your vault. Repeat for more space.

Editado por Astrosa: 5/31/2021 5:18:56 PMVault space idea Get 150 vault shards from killing enemies in any activity .9 percent chance to drop every 3 minutes. Turn 150 vault shards into a bounty. These bounties can be picked up for specific activities featuring trials and raid activities with clanmates. Once bounty is complete you will be rewarded with vault engram Turn into rahool for 1 vault space max 10 per season or 5 enhancement cores 50/50 respectively
or by vault engrams for 200 silver each 50/50 chance still applies
I would be up for paying even $10 bucks for more vault space. To those who don't need, or care about vault space, GOOD FOR YOU. If Bungo can offer more vault space, people can pay for it. No problem paying for some features in a game that I like. I'm much rather pay once and have my vault space doubled, than go through the merry go round of Syntweave nonsense to get Snythbolts to get Synthasses to get one ornamental unlock.

1 RespuestaDo you want sunset? If not don’t ask vault space.

Bungie is most likely working on a way to time-gate, lock behind a silver purchase or make a grindy convoluted way for us to increase vault space. Bungreed will strike again..
-
Delete Delete Delete!!! I know, it's a hoarder mindset but....Delete!

There’s plenty of space in the Vault Of Glass! Not sure why this post was made.

You just need better inventory management skills.

I’m not hurting for vault space. It’s just item management is so boring. I should be deleting the old and useless rolls I’ve stashed, but I want to shoot things, not sit in the tower and compare numbers.

1 RespuestaMore than space it needs organisation, sorting and filtering. It’s like a 2005 mobile game

1 RespuestaEditado por BluWrld: 5/30/2021 5:54:29 PMEven if it was 250 for each character, that would give those of us that run all three, 750 slots. I do also agree that the UI needs a re-work. All the 3rd party apps allow you to sort by Slot, Class, Name, etc yet the vault itself is just a mess. They could do away with the Vault all together and just show the rolls you’ve stored in Collections and it would be 100x more user-friendly than it is now.
-
Oh no. You’re not supposed to collect loot in a game where your primary goal is to chase loot. Also, if you’re running out of vault space then it correlates to a real life hoarding problem. -Destiny 2 Forum dwellers

It would be nice if they changed the collections system to let you require rolls you've gotten un-masterworked and at base LL for a larger price. Hell not even all the rolls, let you tag like 5 acquired rolls per item to select from later on.
-
Dude, they don't even know how to organize one after 14 years 🤦♂️

Just delete all of your sunset crap and you won’t need vault space

2 RespuestasI dont think you need to save that Scathelocke from Y1 Deborah.

I wish Bungie would finish what they started when they removed the elemental affinity for ammo finders, dexterity mods etc. Take out the elemental affinity for Charged with Light, Warmind Cells, Elemental Wells, and raid mods then I would have a lot less in the way of armour to hang onto. But ultimately, yes, more vault space.
