(Great game made by a company that does not listen)
I really am beginning to question the integrity of this company.
This season has been nothing but a major let down, I am sure I am not the only one.
We were welcomed to the start of this season with a plethora of bugs and errors. I for one took the day off work only to find I could not make it past the character loading screen. Bungie acknowledged this issue but never said they found a solution. I was able to find the solution by reading the forum here.
On top of this, we have had pinnacles not dropping correctly, connection issues, mislabelled rewards and false information provided to us regarding activities. For all of this we simply get a "sorry we are looking into it."
The game has become such a chore which heavily penalizes people who wish to take a break and come back when they are ready.
I am sure like me, you are sick of the same three gambit matches and strikes we need to do weekly for a pinnacle that will probably be a drop for an item YOU ALREADY HAVE at that light level (waste of time).
Maybe it would not feel like such a chore if they rotated strikes in and out of the playlist each season. I for one am sick to death of the same strikes that have been in rotation since Beyond Light dropped.
Do not even get me started on the travesty that has become CRUCIBLE. A meta that has not changed for months, broken hit boxes, inconsistent hit registration and lag!
Skill based match making needs to return as well, I am sure people willing to learn are not enjoying getting stomped with people who have a 2+ kd.
Bungie, PLEASE LISTEN TO YOU COMMUNITY AND PLAYER BASE. we are tired of doing the same content every GODDAMN week. I love this game so much, please do not let it continue to go on like this.
I have been playing this game since D1 and it pains me to see the game progressing like it has.

6 RespuestasNot gonna lie, after Outriders; destiny feels like some masterpiece of game design.

1 RespuestaAgreed 100%. Reskins and nerfs. "New" content that is not new at all. "Vaulting" - also known as DELETING content from the game. Seasonal crap. Laziest development studio in the industry. Why would anyone who has been around since the start, when the game was actually good, wasn't to continue this grindy waste of time?
-
2 RespuestasCouple mistakes here. 1. Destiny is the crack 2. WE'RE smoking it 3. Bungie is the dealer, and has tinnitus. Hence the not-hearing.

^Bungie^

4 RespuestasRookie mistake. You always take the day after a launch off. Let the inevitable bugs and day 1 issues get resolved before your grind time.

5 RespuestasThis thread is longer than my final English essay, there is no way I. Hell I'm even going to read this, that probably goes for the Devs too. I don't even know what this post said but if you don't like the game, don't play it...

Editado por Corrick II: 5/29/2021 4:00:13 PMAs a dirty, filthy casual, I’m having a pretty good time this season. Cool looking guns with interesting perks, lore delivered in game for once, a throwback TRON aesthetic, a seasonal activity that while not 100% original is fun enough to run through. And of course the run jump shoot is as good as ever, which is honestly why I keep coming back. Not many games feel as good as this one. Sure, I have my issues, but this is certainly one of the better seasons we’ve had in a while, especially compared to some of the real stinkers. It might also be because I took time off from the game and came back to three seasons of content, so it feels pretty deep to me. Sometimes you just have to do that. If this is the way it is, if this is what Destiny is going to be like from now on, then ok. I won’t spend as much time as I used to, and I’ll be a little sad the best days are behind us (contrary to the TWAB), but I’ll still come back to blow off steam every now and then.
(Great game made by a company that does not listen)
If they made a great game without listening, why should they listen?
-
1 RespuestaThey listen to youtubers/ streamers. They have summit meanings with them nearly every season. So if the games a state then you have them to partly blame as we know most moves are made for those two parties to get viewers and make money.

44 RespuestasUnless you missed it? The world in the middle of the biggest public health emergency in the last 100 years. Requiring game devs to work from home, and games to be delayed. Bungie was able to dive into all this while only having to delay Beyond Light for two months and have been able to make on-time deliveries of content ever since. Expecting these deliveries to be perfect is unreasonable and unfair.

It is a chore. Indeed. As someone who works full time and is now doing a part-time practicum for grad school, I don’t even bother with pinnacles or weeklies anymore. I don’t need one more fvcking checklist to fill out. I jump in and play PvP and that’s it. The game is now mostly geared toward people who can and do play 20-30 hrs a week.

Play ffxiv. The devs listen intently. I main ffxiv bow and casually play destiny and I'm not nearly as jaded

Haven't you learned anything all these years? Every Destiny veteran knows one should take the day AFTER the launch off. Sorry but I guess the joke's on you.

6 RespuestasRemeber when Bungie took away loads of paid content because it was making the game too hard to update without going all kapooey? Funny how after they took away all that content we seem to have more issues with bugs, not less. Let's be real, Bungie are putting about 40% effort into the game right now. It's making them money and they get away with barely trying so why would they change?
-
On crack? Well, there is that Marion Barry error code.
-
This season has been the worst I can remember. The activities are terrible, the pinnacles are a mess and they ruined a perfectly good raid in VoG Might be time to take another long break
-
Mmm crack. Very morish.

Welcome, i'm Dr.Samuel Hayden, i'm the head of this facility. I think we can work together and resolve this problem in a way that benefits us both.

As a spit in the face, I love how the new crucible intro displays the seasonal KDA of everybody on your team. So not only can I look at the roster before the match to see a 6 stack clan on the enemy team, but now I can leave the moment I see a string of 0.9's on my team. It's a pretty good tool for deciding which games are not worth the frustration.

You're JUST beginning to question bungie's integrity? Hoo boy.

1 Respuesta"I am sure people willing to learn are not enjoying getting stomped with people who have a 2+ kd." The really good PvP players want this to remain, it is good for them in quite a number of ways. You see "really good PvP players" are not "great PvP players". If you were to have fair matches the really good PvP players would become the ones that would be being "stomped on" all the time by the great PvP players and then the whinging would commence in earnest. Destiny PvP has a lot of good players that just love being OP and stomping people into the ground who have no chance against them. It is also a time to practice with new weapons, mods, etc.. If you go into the roster and inspect the players getting a ton of kills say in Rumble you will be surprised by how many changes they will make to their loadout etc. in a single match. Then there is the latency argument and the how long will it take to get into a match blah, blah, blah. At their heart a lot of PvP players just enjoy being overpowered bullies. Though having said that, I do admire the skills of good PvP players, it can be poetry to watch some in action.

You mean crystal meth.. Fixing and fixing and tweaking and tweaking.. And getting NOTHING actually fixed.
