how can it possibly be difficult? Im not even a pve guy and I soloed it blind right at reset with no idea what was happening in like 13 minutes with no platform upgrades on my gauntlet. with a team of 3 and guides out now, if you cant hit it in less than 10 you truly dont deserve the challenge rewards.

I hated everything about Expunge, the name, the tron like location, the long jumping puzzle, the boss that boots you off the map, but hey why not put a timmer on an already stooooopid activity? I was hoping it would be something more like Presage, but I guess that's on me. Most Meh season EVER and we thought COS was bad. Hahaha

Dude the mission is so easy, if you are having trouble with it than you are to low power to do it.

The timer is not that bad when you know the way. I used a shotgun, a hand cannon and lament. I also upgraded the splicer glove to use the launchers on the boss room. I got it in 9:50 seconds. Oh, and stasis with shatterdive just to make it a little faster.

You can buy upgrades for the splicer gloves, so you have a few shortcuts.
