I guess my main complaint would be that the enemies barely do damage and die really quick when doing the raid at level. That's just how the game works in D2 tho.
Most raids in D2 have the issue that they are very mechanic heavy and result in players being excluded. Not because they are necessarily bad players, but because it takes some time and patience to teach it.
I wasn't around much during Year 1 of Destiny 2, but I noticed a spike in toxicity within the raiding community when the Crown of Sorrow dropped. My guess would be that the 2nd to last and final encounters were mechanic heavy enough to exclude players that needed explaining.

That....and the revive token system is part of it...and really needs to go away. It is one of the worst changes from D1 to D2 raids.
-
Absolutely hate the revive token system. It just fn sucks.
-
I hate it a burning passion. It really needs to die by fire.

Oh I agree. I stopped being a Sherpa during Leviathan because of it. It’s literally an unnecessary relic of the past. I could see it as a hard mode mechanic, but not for base raids.
-
Agreed. If it had been part of hard mode, I’d have been all for it. But to bake it into the base version was a huge stiff arm to new players, while adding very little to the experience for veterans.

Yeah it really discourages many teams from even having a new person do ads
