I mean...getting hard CC'd in ANY PvP game, let alone an FPS like Destiny blows my mind. Each time you introduce a nerf, you take a step back, only to buff it up more. I mean...what's the point?

Editado por dead fighter 3: 5/19/2021 5:00:34 PMI would like to see them add cleanses and immunities for CC like Stasis rather than taking more content out of the game. Which they are actually starting to add stasis counters as the new Titan Exotic boots are a first step to that goal. Honestly saying remove Stasis in PvP is like saying remove all CC from any MOBA, or remove Mai's ability to freeze in Overwatch, it literally has no positive effects outside of making the few salty individuals that decided to rant and whine for it to be removed have a much larger ego and power than they should have. Is CC annoying? Yes. Why do you think 90% of non hunters whined and complained about smoke grenade wombo combos before they got nerfed in D1, why do you think anyone in a competitive game hates CC? Do I think Stasis needs nerfs? Yes, its still very obvious Bungie doesn't know where they want Stasis to be. They want it to be strong and powerful for all the time effort and money they put in. Which is another factor I'll point to later. But they also want Stasis to feel balances that its not making everything else irrelevant, and in the end alot of player skill and adaptation to the new factor of Stasis and Hard CC has already begun to show overtime since stasis came out players have adapted and figured out ways to outplay Stasis with or without using it themselves. Then the factor of removing Stasis from any gamemode would just be spitting it the Dev teams face and then smearing it all over them. The amount of effort, time, and resources that went into Stasis has been far more than we've seen for anything else they did for Destiny 2. Compared to the lazy and half hearted effort of D2's existence. The dev team seemed to actually enjoy designing Stasis from the sounds, the design, and the gameplay and wanted us to enjoy it as well. Everyone was hyped for Stasis and wanted it, everyone finally happy we got Darkness Subclasses... then the crucible in all its great power happened and everyone like a grumpy baby during feeding threw up there arms and started screaming at a mess they themselves made. Honestly Im just gonna adopt a wait and see approach to this because we are seeing effort from Bungie even if they currently are falling down the stairs with a certain hunter aspect that makes stasis nerfs irrelevant to a certain coldsnap grenade, but the inclusion of stasis counters opens up for more diversity and play rather than jumping from one meta to the next... Stasis in my eyes is a game changer, one many do not like, but is here to stay regardless and will eventually lead to a much better and healthier sandbox as long as Stasis is kept balanced and on a leesh and not left to run loose like D1 Thorn or Prometheus Lens for example. In the end though my view will probably just be lined for flaming with the rest of the reasonable arguements because I didn't agree completely with someones opinion as if it was holy text, and then this forum will fade from the eyes of others and repeat with someone else getting way to heated and posting on the forums. :/
