Just kill off pvp. Make Destiny PvE only.
That's my suggestion. It should be a separate game in my opinion. The community seems to lean towards either one game mode or another. Also balancing would be way easier.

2 RespuestasSad how much kids don't realize that the sweaty pvp players also make up a crap load of the end game pve players. And if those people chose to leave if pvp got removed the game population would plumit, sure it probs wouldn't kill the game instantly but boy oh boy would it hurt it badly

2 RespuestasA lot of us do both. If the game was pve only it would die honestly. During content drought, players tends to pvp to use all the guns they got from the released pve content. Also pve in d2 became really poo poo beside GM and raid day one. The rest is just borring activities with 0 challenge. Just melting endless waves of dumb adds again and again to one shot the final boss. The game is cool, because there is both pvp and pve

1 RespuestaPersonally, I'd say make PVE 25$, and PVP 15$. I am doing the IB bounties this week, but won't play again for the rest of the season. I find it unfair to have to play against guardians who pvp all the time, so they are way better than me, and it makes my experience bad. Pve is the same for everyone, enemies aren't harder for anyone. Pvp is more toxic also, since I'm guessing more younger players with more to prove are playing. When I see a video with frostbolt talking like 'oh you think you can hide from me?', dude, you are picking on a guy who isn't even in your league and who is likely just getting his +1 pinnacle. Goes to show the typical attitude of pvp players. Separating the two isn't such a bad idea.

or have a set of weapons for PvP only and then easy to balance. no exotics either in PvP As average player PvP is boring and no fun currently doing my Iron Banner bounties and its the normal shot to pieces and on the receiving of mercy loses every other game. just painful. but have to do it as trying to level up for VoG.

3 Respuestasor you could not play it. effectively the same thing. you dont play, it doesnt exist. you miss out on a catalyst or 2? thats the trade. i miss out on more than a couple of the best exotics because i dont raid, thats the trade. you miss out on a couple catalysts because you dont pvp. trade. i play what i like and skip what i dont, you do the same. the end. pretty cool right? your point of view/mindset comes across as very similar to the "ethnic cleansing"-esque style of "if I dont like it/it isnt like me, make it gone" thinking lol.

‘The community’ is a term that’s banded around far too often. Bungie has far more data than us and we are more the vocal minority of this game rather than the large overwhelming view of ‘the community’. Destiny is at its best when you play all aspects of the game - I believe that the majority of the player base does this and daily log in numbers back this up. There are plenty of good PvE games out there as well as good PvP ones. Destiny is the only one that is relatively successful incorporating both.

1 RespuestaYou are not forced to play this game. It's your choice. You are not forced to complete all content. If you can't figure out how to play and have fun / enjoy the game. Then stop playing it. They are never going to cater it to you.
