That's your problem right there. They aren't better!
Why? Because this wasn't a mistake.
This was deliberately designed with the sole purpose of making it the most boring, tedious and mind numbing grind as possible, just to enhance the possibility of milking the wallets of players that will jump to eververse to buy synthweave, out of frustration with the system.
They knew perfectly what they were doing and why.

I don't get how some act surprised at this point when all of this took a turn for the worst after Forsaken was released when it comes to the grind. Bungie was never really planning on making any actual content for the game. They even said before D2 released that Eververse was how they plan on making their money and now that Activision is gone Bungie pushing Eververse more than they have ever had before. The sad thing about the transmog is knowing how many will grind the crap out of it and how many will actually throw money at Eververse. I can deal with Eververse being in the game, but it's pure BS how lazy they have become creating a game. They haven't really done jack shit for this game since Activision left.

[/quote] Well, they can count me out on both options. Transmog should be a QoL update to the game without caps, barriers or grind. It should work with the in-game currency, glimmer, and nothing else. We didn't even need Ada. Just add a transmog screen and make it 10000, 20000 or 30000 glimmer per armor piece to transmog. Even Datto, which I find being a pretty balanced guy when it comes to Destiny, made really harsh criticism to Bungie over the transmog system. The sad thing is that Bungie will change the system and will be praised for solving a problem they created on purpose and consciously. That's how deluded and blind so many players around here are.

Nothing personal, but to me, streamers are more about the show than anything else. Datto as many others knew Eververse was an issue the day D2 released and that was 4 years ago, yet they all keep praising this company to make the money by overhyping the game every single time when new DLC is released 🤷♂️ As I said to someone else if these streamers really gave a shit about gaming and want to make an actual statement? Stop the free advertisement for Bungie, put their words where their mouth runs.

If I'm correct, you were the one that posted how they will play it off as if it was a "mistake" that it was something they thought we wanted, and if and when they adjust things some players will thank them for it? Something I didn't know until yesterday because I don't do much research on the game anymore. The VoG shader is being locked behind Eververse, and I can't help but think how greedy this company has become. Something that was part of the raid for its time that had a sense of value is now a profit? Is this true?
