Nothing will match how fun Wrath of the Machine was. Most of D2 is straight up Garbage.

first good d2 raid is dsc, the others are shite
-
Dsc is laughably easy. Last Wish imo is 4x what dsc is.
-
Who cares if it’s easy, WAS it fun? YES. That is and should be the main factor for ALL Raids. Just because it’s difficult doesn’t make it great. That’s just your ego talking.
-
Ego? It was an opinion, I see you replied to another one of my replies calling me an idiot. As someone who sherpas and teaches the raids I'd say you can go -blam!- yourself. Dsc can be completed by someone having zero idea of the mechanics which is a joke. Case and point my buddy his first run with us even down to carrying a bomb at tanks had no idea. Our op grabbed his bomb. And dunked raid was over But im ego stroking and an idiot. Twice go -blam!- yourself. Kings Fall Wraith and Last Wish are my favs. If it's hard to figure out why you're an idiot. Maybe we can chat on xbox. Nah you muted you toxic -blam!-.
-
last wish is garbage; -blam!- mechanics and forgettable loot
-
For me every raid weapon is forgettable with the armor at least in d2. In d1 raid weapons helped you in encounters and in d2, ah yes...another thing I can only obtain here with extra hassle The raid weapons in d1 are memorable for me with the armor since they had special perks only the armor had. In dsc its sort of alright but they don't help much in raid And no before you say "Raid weapons exclusive perks are the thing" Here me out...does it do extra damage against fallen? Is it able to bypass some mechanics that make it easier like shooting through a knights shield. If your answer is no you are right on the money. There is no mutiny, whirlwind or that sort of stuff intrinsically on the weapons nor a special perk that helps with dealing with some enemies better. Idk for me it just doesn't feel the same as receiving a fatebringer or god rolled praedyth's revenge
-
Dsc lacks mechanics and can be completed in 25 minutes.
-
Oh because if it took 4 hours it would be so much better? The weapons and armor are garbage. You just want to brag about how you accomplished something few did because it’s so difficult. Go become a Doctor if you need your ego praised. Idiot
-
you are saying last wish is bad?
-
Wrath of the machine was my raid. It had the balance of mechanics and gunplay that I was always looking for. And I loved the aesthetic.
-
Absolutely
-
I mean if I could find people to do D2 raids that’ll be cool. I’ve only done kings fall and wrath(to final boss). Never did do VOG(only finished first encounter and second in vault). PS4 here haha
-
D1 raids: oh someone died? Go and pick them up if you can but we can keep going. D2 raids: someone died? Wipe
-
Lol hard mode if you died you were dead. But the raids allowed for hero moments. D2 raids aren't anywhere near that.
-
D1 raids: oh someone died? Go and pick them up if you can but we can keep going. D2 raids: someone died? Wipe
I had to wipe more to someone dying in D1, especially hard mode, than I do in D2.
-
D1 raids: oh someone died? Go and pick them up if you can but we can keep going. D2 raids: someone died? Wipe
This is absolutely false
-
Exactly, they were challenging but more importantly they were a great group experience and you could laugh and just have great time. I honestly can’t say that for any of the D2 Raids. Deep Stone has its moments but they vanish quickly. I will do a D2 Raid here and there, but I no longer jump at the chance. This game has fully changed over to catering to the Elites and Uber Sweats. If you’re not Hardcore and perfect on your execution, nobody wants to play you. D1 will always be my best Destiny Experience.
-
Back in D1 i played raids every saturday with my old group of friends because we had so much fun doing them, we also messed around alot (like forcing people to mess up the jumping puzzles) because you didn't have to worry about things like revive tokens etc etc. But once i jumped into D2 where it was actually tougher and more punishing to learn as a newbie to the raids i felt alot less motivated to play them because of said token system.
-
Fully Agree, I’m from the States and I had an Amazing group from Canada I would play Raids with every week in D1. Ever since D2 took over with half the content and IronBanner going to waste. The whole band stop playing...
-
This. I don’t mind more difficult or mechanic heavy raids, but if you add in yet another mechanic that punishes people for making mistakes like the token system, that’s just too much. I would play every D1 raid regularly. D2? Too much trouble.

Kings Fall was my fave.
