Extends outside into the real world. DMG explicitly said this is their policy. So just call your fellow guardian something off color or some stupid shit they consider hate speech OUTSIDE OF THE GAME, they’ll ban you. That’s right. I said OUTSIDE OFTHE GAME. And what THEY deem as hate speech to boot. And in 2021, that could be some innocuous word that someone can claim it hurt their poor widdle feelings. They think they have some god given powers to control us outside their walls. WTF is this crap?
I’d be the first to sue if this happens to me. Easy victory. These companies are unbelievable.

3 RespuestasYou are taking this too far out of context. What dmg04 specifically referred to was included on the picture attached to the Tweet.
This Code of Conduct and our Terms of Use apply to all parts of Destiny and Bungie.net, including Destiny accounts, Clans, forums, and private messages. Bungie reserves the right to moderate the content and the users on this website for any reason at our own discretion.
Which is referring to parts "outside of bungie.net", or more precisely, the game itself (since the game and game accounts are not a direct part of the website). Put simply: if you create racist or other awful content here on the website (e.g. racist clans) Bungie reserves the right to ban you from any of their services.

It’s their game. They can do whatever they want to ensure a decent community is not full of children insulting each other. Make your own game company and run it how u want if this upsets you.

Its regarding these forums. Both the boards and the game are their platform. That being said, you'd have to be a pretty egregious offender for them to nuke you off the game over a forum post.

3 RespuestasEditado por IAGNRG: 4/26/2021 11:18:28 PMGonna need a link for that, chief. Edit: 1) that was prompt, good on you. 2) Would love a response on this on how this applies to in-game consequences? Which part of the CoC explicitly grants this right?
