Grand master nightfalls are...
...the worst “content” I have ever seen. Good lord. So Firing anarchy shots and plinking with scout rifles from the edge of the map for half an hour is the pinnacle of this game?
Was thinking about attempting one and watched a few streamer “guides”. I think I’ll just gouge my own eyes out instead.

The difficulty is distributed incredibly poorly and the strikes are unbelievably badly balanced with eachother. You have strikes like the arms dealer, tree of probabilities, and lake of shadows that are complete jokes. Super easy sub 15 minute runs. You have strikes like SABER, broodhood, and inverted spire that are harder and longer but managable. Then you have absolute NIGHTMARE strikes like Proving grounds, corrupted, and Glassway that are just such an absurd jump in difficulty that it seems like a completely different tier of difficulty from the rest of the GMs. I have no problem with hard content but give people a reason to do it... people are going to do proving grounds once, twice at most if they want the title. Rewarding people the same for doing a glassway as for doing an arms dealer is completely absurd.

3 RespuestasIts terrible. I got Conquerer this season and they all felt like a slog. These strikes were not built around this kind of difficulty and certain boss fights (looking at you SABER and Terminus bosses) are absolutely miserable affairs.

I’ll choose that over raids lol. Raids are just symbol call outs and telling people what to look at or shoot at while standing in one leg

Did a few of them over the seasons with a sword, a sidearm, a SMG. All about positioning and teamwork.

It’s challenging because you have to take it slow so that you don’t wipe or waste revives, but can’t go too slowly or you’ll run out of time. I did my first GM ever this season in the Proving Grounds (no cheese) and am loving the experience. I also did a dozen arms dealer runs (with cheese). It also feels so much more rewarding than winning some crucible or gambit does, as it actually gives you good loot. Probably wait til next season when there is new loot or the Palindrome comes back around. For me, the hardest part is just xp grinding to a high enough LL.

Editado por GPrime96: 4/27/2021 8:11:25 PMImo, GM is mostly about covering yourself from Gunfire, or kill your Target as fast as possible before being wiped/for cheesing since it’s the only Gamemode you don’t have to handicap yourself to be one shot because it would do that immediately with Contest Mode and extra Elemental/Environmental/Airborne Damage. I also got Conqueror this Season.

Wtf? How would you change it? GM's are a challenge and a good way to make strikes an end game activity. If you want to fly around and stay mobile then go to the crucible.

They remind me of the old D1 Nightfalls, although they for sure require more teamwork. Izanagi's, Le Monarque and a few other Exotics are also highly viable. Just got to play to their strengths.

They should find a solution for glided title Conquerer. I got it last week and I dont even wanna login till next season because there is nothing to do. Not really a big show off when it’s gonna be gone in 2 weeks. Either start GMs earlier in the season or don’t remove the glided effect.

Yeah they should have found an better solution than sending people in simply underleveled to make it difficult. Very poor endgane idea, lacks of creativity.
