I am saying this game is not F2P because people are using that as an excuse to justify the insane monetization and micro transactions in this game like the new transmog system. I have paid for EVERY single DLC at full price on day 1.[/i]

3 RespuestasThis is what I have been saying. What is FREE is also WORTHLESS. Originally it was the base game which they’ve gutted at this point. Now what’s left is destinations, the new light quest, and core playlists. In a game that was already free at one point or another on most platforms. “ItS fReE nOw!” Yeah after three expansions outdated content is free. Anybody remember how much base D1 cost after RoI came out? I could grab it for $3 from any used game store. Because the base content was virtually worthless. “Free” is an empty gesture when the item has no worth. And to add insult to injury they did not adjust and adapt their monetization to a free to play game. They KEPT their original model and just slapped F2P monetization on top of it to double dip. Now they are nickel and diming the content they’ve already made into the dirt to avoid developing new stuff. I have a strong feeling next season is just gonna be unvaulted stuff from D1 since VoG is coming back

Destiny when you first start it is absolutely BRIMMING with content. After your done with that, you want more so you give into your money and buy seasons, dlc, etc

Please stop the game is free just because it's not your want of free doesn't mean anything. A free trial is a set time to play or watch something, hulu has a month long free trial mass effect andromeda had a free trial for like 2 weeks then you had to buy at the end. Destiny is free to play there might not be alot but it's still free to play.

The Free to Play portion is to try it out. Expansions, Season Passes, etc are all extra content that require money. If you want the full Destiny Experience than pay for it.

There isn’t really a time limit on how long you can play f2p, so I’m not sure “trial” is the right word for it.

The Bungie executives are the issue, however the design team are the ones would made it. There's plenty of blame to go around this time.
