Yeah, ignore the 7 years people have saying that, ignore all the games that were going to kill destiny like borderlands 3, anthem, cyberpunk, and outriders. None have killed destiny, and no one will for a while

Last I heard it was just 30 people working on Anthem V2.0 and are way past any release dates and that info was months ago. Would not be surprised it is now buried with everyone now on other projects.

Pity the game had potential. I'm not one to say "Destiny killer" but it would have been good friendly competition. To see a fantastic world created by hard working staff to end in such a way... One of the reasons I like Destiny so much is not only the game play but the world created to host the game. To stand in the Tower knowing that there is things to still discover behind that hill in the distance and hiw will it affect our characters in the future.

People don’t seem to think multiple looter shooters can exist together. It’s always the “x game will kill destiny” it’s so annoying. Borderlands has a very unique and wacky take on the genre and is successful. Anthem although officially dead had potential but was released waaay too soon and outriders is so far very fun and takes bits from multiple games in the genre and other genres and it all comes together nicely if you can get past the cheesy voice acting mainly from the main character lol
