For me, as much as it depends on the effort, I'm a fan of my own work, whether it's art, writing stories here, etc, especially my long-running story no one cares about but I still write it just cause.

My profile name is from my book. So I’m going to have to go with yes and yes.

Not clear what's the question you're asking. Do I listen to my own music? Yes. But I tend to only listen to my recent work. My skill at composing has increased such that If I go back and listen to my earliest efforts, all I hear are the flaws and the halting efforts of someone who was just learning how to write music.

Not sure I understand. I’m proud of some of the work I do, and it’s... work, so I guess it is automatically incorporated into my real life?

My work, as a general rule, sucks. However, I use it to make up for disreptancies in my personality

Art and music are everything to me. I do art commissions for close friends and family, and I regularly play guitar at a weekly open mic event at my teachers cafe. This is actually my first year having a serious art teacher, I’m self taught. She’s helping me build my portfolio and apply for scholarships. She says my skill is already college level, so I should be able to get into a four year program with a decent scholarship. Here’s to hoping :) My guitar teacher is heavily invested in my career as a musician. I’m primarily focused on art, but I’ve always wanted to make music on the side, as a small scale thing. Make an album, play some local shows, sit back. My teacher is pretty well known for helping along some of the biggest rock bands of our town, and he’s pretty confident I’ll be next. I write on the side sometimes, not too much anymore tho. Wrote a shitty murder mystery story right here on bnet when I was 12, started another one, which I couldn’t keep up with regularly and people lost interest. Mostly do short stories based on my weird dreams now. I’m actually working on another one rn. I love to read, but I can’t anymore because my concussion makes it painful. My friends read to me sometimes to compensate

Yes, but I'm not sure how I'd incorporate it into my life. The skills, sure. The works themselves though, not so much.

1 RespuestaI don’t understand the question
-
Everything I write is either, edgy, emo, erotic, or lacks anything to do with actual good development or poetic value. I prefer to distance myself from everything I create.

Editado por A Stormy Dio: 4/20/2021 2:40:43 AMSome things, yes. Somethings, no, to the first part of this question. Coming from an fanfic writer myself (although not of the Destiny fandom) Although, “incorporate into real life”? Don’t understand that second part of the question.

I guess that depends on what you mean by “incorporate it into my real life”.
