there was this shop between the vaults where all the guns are that normally aren't available anymore
because of the content cut

Oh your talking about that shop, those weapons in the shop won’t ever free, you still need to pay some kind of materials each to get a hold of them

Oh sorry, misread your post, I’m a bit unsure what you mean by changing the access of it? From what I understand from your post is that everyone has access to the shop.

Which weapons are you talking about that were free? Are you talking about some year 1 exotic quests for weapons?

and the seasonal free guns arent free anymore

legend of acruis for example was free because f2p players had access to the quest and leviathan raid

Ah those guns, as the content for completing those guns are gone of course it’s impossible to complete the tasks needed. I believe the reason behind Bungie’s decision for players having to buy those once free guns is so people that have already done the quests don’t feel like they are cheated out of it, as some of those quests needed a lot of grinding to do.

None of these guns have ever been free. Seasonal exotics you needed to buy the season pass for that specific season.
