Whisper of Durance should not affect Silence and Squall
Okay, I get you nerfed Stasis already, but there are still some major issues, one of the most blaring being the whisper of durance fragment. I understand that the second half of silence and squall is a slowing affect, but unlike every other slowing effect, this one kills. Not to mention, it feels like it more than doubles the duration of the super, making it probably the best space controlling super in the game in addition to the fact that it freezes and kills other supers with the first half. This is absolutely ridiculous how long and how far the tornado can track you and literally hold a lane and revives by itself. It is already good without whisper of durance, but it just feels totally excessive with that fragment.

This game's PVP will ALWAYS be a game that is a combination of individual skill...and build strength. If you can't accept that, then this game will always be a source of frustration for you...and you'd be happier playing Halo. If you are going to accept it...then it means that your ability to ADAPT to engagements that are (in the moment) "unbalanced" is part of the skill of playing the game.

9 RespuestasThere's not a hunter in the world that plays stasis just for the super champ. We hate it, it gets stuck on literally everything other than an actual enemy (in pvp). It's bloody rare for the super to do anything useful aside from the freeze at the start which 9/10 people will have time to escape from and simply walk away from the super.

1 RespuestaThen other supers shouldn't be affected by fragments either. If they do nerf Durance so it doesn't work with SaS, then it would only be fair to either do similar nerfs to other Stasis supers, or add the lost damage/ slow stacks to the super.

Honestly I just want a core to shoot so there is a way to stop it besides just run away. you can kill roaming supers and other supers this is the only one that just independently comes after you as now a stage hazard and there's nothing to do about it. Unless killing the hunter kills it I guess but usually they're just miles away since Silence and Squall will do all the work with no risk.

5 RespuestasThe base version lasts about 10 or 12s. With Durance it lasts 16s. That’s hardly an issue given how slow it is. Not to mention that it turns your slowly turns your screen blue to let you well in advance that the tornado is close to you. The tornado is only good at killing enemies that you froze with Silence and even then, it so slow that if you don’t throw it right on top of the frozen enemies, they can breakout and leave in most cases. There are many problems with Stasis but Silence and Squall ain’t one of them. If they’re gonna nerf the duration the they need to up the speed at which the tornado moves, speed up how quickly it freezes enemies, and remove the blue screen effect.

I definitely think durance is the most important hunter fragment, like hedrons is good for warlock. Hunters tool kit is built around slow now rather than freeze, so it makes sense that it would pair with this. I could care less about the squall time and would rather have silence radius be nerfed.
