...gender? I was one day visiting variks in his lil home, about to do one if his sabotage quests and while I was doing it, I read the flavor text and it said..."Eramis and Athrys had many children." -Variks
So they can have babies with own gender? Or us Eramis secretly a boy and Athrys a girl or vise versa? I need an explanation please. Did I miss a lore card somewhere?
.."Eramis and Athrys had many children." -Variks
Eramis had many children. Athrys had many children. Eramis and Athrys had many children. I am not a lore guy but that sentence does not develop an intimate relationship between the two. It just says they both had many children. Who knows who the baby daddy was.

1 Respuesta<A village raised children. Eramis and Athrys were one couple in that collection. Don't confuse Athrys with Atraks. Atraks was born after the Whirlwind. Athrys died during it.>

I misread this as sweet home Alabama kinda way.

2 RespuestasIf I recall correctly, the Truth lore tab describes a very young Fallen as a "hatchling". If I had to take a guess, the Fallen reproduce and have their young from eggs, or they are capable of externally creating a fetus of sorts, like in a pod. It all depends on what further details we get, but the use of the word "hatchling" has led me to the conclusion I made.

I think it’s more like a following. Think religiously(please don’t hurt me COC and forum dwellers) in the context of Destiny 2. People often refer to themselves as Gods children and people. Well Eramis believes herself, in a sense, to be a god. There are many aspects that tend to thrive around this idea but one of them is a loyal following, what could be more loyal than a simple follower? A child! That’s my guess and take on the matter! They could be asexual but I doubt, seeing as that is EXTREMELY uncommon in the real world to have an animal that isn’t bacteria that can reproduce on its own. Especially if the Fallen are based off of Spiders it would stand to reason they reproduce like most.

7 RespuestasVariks also mentions Fallen children are raised by the village, or something. So by “children” he could be referring to any apprentices or little Fallen they took under their wing. Fallen can also apparently regrow their limbs, so maybe they can swap genders for mating, frog style. INB4 someone tries to make this a political discussion.

3 RespuestasBased on the flavor text it could mean that they both just had a lot of children and not neccesarily that they had them together. It also could be children in the metaphorical sense.
