Grandmaster nightfalls should be able to be rejoined after disconnect
It doesn't make any sense to me why I can't join back after being disconnected in a GM. Bungie should add a feature where you are offered to rejoin the activity if you were disconnected. I have been disconnected multiple times and the fact I can't rejoin ruins the experience both for me and my two teammates who now how to attempt it without me. I think this issue needs to be resolved because It has to be the worst part of GMs right now. Upvote please!

3 RespuestasTo all the people crying 'Oh, but then you can swap equipment', just make it so that selecting the character that was in the GM Strike loads them into said Strike immediately. This is basic shit that every other MMO has figured out, usually as a form of preventing leaving....

2 RespuestasThe abuse of rejoining is not an excuse because bungie can get around this easily! Bungie can tell what caused you to leave the activity (hence error codes) and if they see that you disconnected they should be able to program it to only offer you re-entry if you disconnected not if you left or closed the game for example.

Happened to us twice. Tonight our friend got kicked at the boss fight. We finished, he didn’t. Missed out on the drop. Seriously Bungie this nightfall is terrible and for somebody to miss out due to being kicked is ridiculous.

Editado por Monkey: 3/31/2021 7:27:26 AMThat would be great as sometimes this game just decides to boot people even tho their connections are fine but they'll always make you believe that you are the issue lol and also, I'm waiting for the day when Bungie is going to fix the teleporting issue of the ads and champions in the nf's A friend had a big cable guy teleport from where the tanks come out to behind us and just slapped him We just had the left unstoppable in the boss room teleport from the front of the room to behind us and smash us. Great job Bungie..completed the GM once and refuse to do it again..Even completing it, none of us got any hand cannons or double drops lol

4 RespuestasThis Gm NF is just trash to begin with. Especially with hunters. They have no support mechanics at all other than dissapearing to revive you. Id shack up with titans running bubble/banner or warlocks with well.

2 RespuestasFor anyone saying fix your internet I’m sure you’ve never lived in a rural area where there is a monopoly of shiternet companies that give you sub dial-up speeds. That’s essentially saying “move to a different county if you want to play GM’s” which is just stupid.

3 RespuestasThe problem is Bungie can’t tell a disconnect from a quit. If I’m playing Gambit or PvP and get DC’d I get a message when I log back in telling me quitting ruins the experience for everybody and I will face a ban if I do it more. Just check the error codes. They’re all the same. No matter what the error code is, it says it’s your internet connection that is bad. My internet connection is fine. I stay connected to streaming services and all other multiplayer games. It’s the D2 infrastructure that sucks. (Now queue all the tech geniuses carrying water for Bungie explaining why it’s my connection)

Understandably annoying I think we can all agree. But it’s in place to prevent people from switching gear. All throughout D1 and some of D2 leaving the nightfall, switching gear, and coming back was a thing people did.

2 RespuestasThe issue that is trying to be averted by not allowing players to rejoin is simply leaving to swap load out and then returning. It happened a lot in the Moon based Master NM Hunts. It was utilized in NFs back in the day as well. Dieing, then leaving, then rejoining was a tactic used in D1 more so than this game. It’s totally understandable why players should not be allowed to rejoin based on the manipulation that has occurred previously.

2 RespuestasAs long as you are dead and have to be respawned when you reconnect then I don't see a problem with it. Otherwise people will just intentionally disconnect when they die.

1 RespuestaBecause it was the easiest way to beat nightfalls I'm D1. Someone hides while the other 2 does all the work. If any of them die, they would leave fireteam and rejoin alive.

When you rejoin any nightfall, your heavy and special are automatically filled to max like when you first enter one. They probably didn’t know how to balance it during a grandmaster or couldn’t program it to give less depending on how far your in or give only primary, which might be a tad bit unfair if I make a statement. You could leave a master when things get bad and return back to the same game fully loaded, which, despite spawning in dead, could be easily abused by any person, making the nightfalls easier. Also, another thing that would it would be abused for is “bypassing,” locked loadouts. If your team for instance, is stuck against a barrier champion or a certain elemental shield, a person could leave, change his load out, spawn in dead, be revived, and could help defeat the champion or pop the elemental shield, something that was either impossible beforehand due to possibly loadout or problems with ammo economy. As you can guess, this to bungie would be considered “bad behavior.” Nott in a banning sense, but in a “you undermined our hard work with a goddamn glitch. It’s supposed to be hard damn it!” Type of way.
