It seems like a no brainer; if you drop someone into a match that's half way over, give them super energy equal to their Intelligence stat based on how long the game has been going. If the game is only a minute in, give them a minutes worth of super energy. If it is almost over, give them full super energy. A player shouldn't be dropped into a match with a handicap like having to face against potentially multiple supers without being able to have one of their own.

2 RespuestasEditado por AVID_Eurobeat: 3/31/2021 1:41:31 PMIt could be abused, let’s say for exemple that I pop my super at 3/4 of the game, get a few kills, leave, then join back so that I can get my super again.

Yesssssssss

1 RespuestaI think it's perfectly fine loading in to a game and getting killed by 6 supers back to back before getting a single kill
-
Goes for Gambit also...

Give this man a job! Easy stuff Bungie should have thought of years ago.

So simple. Yes.

4 RespuestasThese guys can't balance sh!t! 6 years of this now going on for 7, we would think this has been addressed by the Crucible team a long time ago. But they don't. It's not surprising that they may not even be working on this game at all anymore. If you're just playing for fun, there's a solution. I would leave the match and queue again. Simple. I got annoyed with this same issue back in D1 days that when they drop me in the middle of a match, I would leave right away and join another fresh match. I would do this over and over until they find me a fresh match. This was my mentality when playing D1 PvP back then, and I brought it with me on D2. I'm the customer, I'm paying for my enjoyment, I'm paying to have fun. I will not subject myself to dumb irregularities of the game. So, I leave right away and find a new match that will give me a fresh one. I did this over and over until I'm satisfied of getting a fresh match. Because I'm the customer and I'm in control of my satisfaction. Sometimes, the customer is also right. If there is a better choice, we can choose that. 2 cents. I did this just for fun! 😂 Logic, no?

Good idea. Hope we get to use the super before we get mercied ten seconds after dropping in.
-
If I get dropped into a crucible match I’d prefer an apology to be honest.
-
If I get dropped into a match, id prefer to stop getting dropped on the team getting reamed with a spiked pole.
-
With every kill you get super energy just because it doesn’t feel like much doesn’t mean much in the longer run. Or do you want players freezing or hitting you with a super every five seconds or every five mins depending on how long matches last. Then at that point double it for comp or trials.

Pfft. No. ... but wait 👀 yes! NO! YES!! Maybe. Honestly I wouldnt mind a free "and his name is john cena!" moment for my troubles.
-
I'd rather get an abundance of materials as compensation either cores, prisms, BD, or a shard

Bungie: This makes more sense than anything in the forums. Here’s what we’re going to do about it...
...
-
I have been saying this for years....

3 RespuestasIt’ll never work. I got dropped into a Crucible match 1 minute in. Does that warrant getting a free super to clap someone basically straight away? 😂
-
Even cod gives you your special ability
-
An interesting idea, but how would that be coded bug free? Imagine starting a pvp match with half your super at the start of the match, that would upset the balance alot more than what we've got right now.

That's actually a pretty good idea. That's a pretty creative and cool solution.
-
I would just like not to see join in progress not happen at all. If ppl could start with some super energy, then they would just quit and rejoin till they found a match that was in progress. So it's a super bad idea, for me it would be no supers in pvp except for mayhem.

Lol 100% agree. Best one was yesterday a special game I loaded in which for the first moment looked like normal until I realised I could shoot players without doing damage and being obviously invisible to them. Walking/running around and game results "updating" in quantum leaps every few seconds. Like the game actions were happening half a minute earlier and me seeing the results with a significant delay. Game ended with a network error but it was hilarious and surreal.

hear me out, games in progress shouldnt exist, esp past 20 points. if someone leaves, let the game play its course. dont force someone else to fill in
-
1 Respuesta"No!" - says killer of fun! Hehe. Is Logic no?

6 RespuestasFor me, if I'm forced into PvP, being dropped into games already in progress is enough of a gift. Anything to get the match over with sooner and move on to the next match sooner and be done with PvP sooner. PvP is gross.

I agree and dissagree with this.
