Today, someone killed me with a handheld supernova in pvp and it made me really sad

Your rarely see it these days which is why it hit me. Not for the reason that you might think. It made me sad because it reminded me of a time in Destiny, where all i was complaining about was exactly that every once in a while and maybe some outliers like lord of wolves at that time when it was broken. Now i've gotten so numb on dying to absolute bullcrap in pvp over and over aka stasis, that i almost forgot how good the game was before Beyond Light. Yes, stasis has received good adjustments, still the game doesn't and never will feel good to me again with all these abilities and that will not change because Bungie will never go back to a mainly gunplay focused experience and thats understandable. I feel like Bungie is at the point where things "need" to be innovated so desperately to keep the game fresh, that this will be the future for the game. We've seen it with Fortnite, game devs try so hard to keep the game fresh that they throw in all the op, fun for about 20 minutes bs permanently to satisfy their casuals on buying the shiny new stuff, that these games lose their replayability big time. Might also just be me, being worn out after all these hours in the game but i am just not satisfied while or after playing the game anymore, the Fortnite effect has kicked in, within my favorite game, rip.
Btw, i am obviously talking about pvp, which was the only thing that kept me entertained in the game since pve has become what it is now with the DCV. (A side thing, not a main game to sink time into)
