Titan is lying on a bench, his armor looking much more worn than when he was last seen. He appears to be watching the street near him, including the figure
Screw finishing RP stories that you make yourself lol. I'm back... ish
The figure walks over to Titan, and talks in a modulated voice. “Ah, hello Mr. Titan.”
-
Titan jolts awake, almost falling off of the bench, and looks at the figure. "I know I haven't been here for a while, but you seem new. Do I know you?"
-
“I uh...don’t think you know me yet.”
-
Titan rubs the back of his helmet as he stands up. "Huh, I didn't think I was well known. Who are you? If I may ask."
-
“I...uhm...just call me Sers.”
-
Titan nods as he stretches himself, trying to shake off his sleep. "Nice to meet you Sers. What brings you here?"
-
“Well uh...I wanted to visit Offtopic for a bit.”
-
"Huh. Well you picked a good time to visit. I don't think anything big is going down right now."
-
“Yup, this place is really nice...”
-
"Most times it is. Of course, I can't really speak to its current state, I haven't really been around recently."
-
“You haven’t?”
-
"Nope. Got into a scuffle with some odd folks, ended up inside a stone warrior, eventually broke out and killed them. So yeah, I've been out of the loop for a while."
-
“Oh that sounds fun!” They say.
-
"Eh, being trapped in a rock isn't the most fun. Everything else was though."
-
“Yeah...all that combat? Tons of fun!”
-
"You see enough combat, it begins to wear on you. The other guy had more fun with it." He sighs as he brushes a little bit of dust off of his armor
-
“Yeah...I haven’t been able to get into much combat. I’ve only been able to train.”
-
"That's a good start. But do remember, conflict takes a toll on you. Don't be in a rush to put your life in danger. I've suffered that lesson too many times too count."
-
“Hm...alright, I’ll keep that in mind.”
-
"Good, good. A kid like you has their whole life ahead of them. Don't ruin it because of a love of fighting." He pats the side of his legs as if looking for pockets to put his hands in. "It's fun to be sure. But don't live for it. Because that's no life. Find people to be around, to rely on. That'll give you a life." The sadness in his voice is evident as he says this
-
“Alright...that’s fair.” They cross their arms. “But I’m not a kid.”
-
Titan chuckles. "No offense meant. Just a lot of memories, and getting old taking a toll on me. Heh. Can't believe how this place has changed. Makes a guy feel older than he is." He sits back down on the bench and sighs
-
“Huh, really?” They chuckle.
-
Titan chuckles a little. "Yeah. Seems like it leeches a little bit of life off of you. And sometimes you lose... friends." He shakes his head and looks around. "So many of the old guard gone.... it's an odd feeling, looking into a crowd and not knowing most of the people who look back."
-
“I would...imagine.” They sigh.
