fireteam text chat not working on pc

so instead of fixing the lack of communication between us and bungie, they broke the communication between all of us.

OK so i think i found it, go steam into offline mode then online mode and it should be fixed

Pls fixed it ASAP, or, [b]AT LEAST[/b], acknowledge it as known issues. This issue is impacting our team's communications [b]severely[/b] and we need to constantly Shift+Tab to use Steam group chat, it's super disruptive to our gameplay experience :/

This issue mainly affects team chat for me. I've been noticing this issue since I started playing the game actively again near the end of last season. A friend of mine is also having the same issue. Restarting the game or steam usually has no effect. The chat has been working a few times but around 80% of my time playing it's not working at all. Please put more priority to fixing this issue. It's very frustrating for a person who uses team chat a lot like me.

This post is March lol. It's not working for me on May 25, hasn't for weeks. Clan chat is fine but solo fireteam chat (& local) is not working at all, which makes IB a real pain. Anyone know if this will get fixed or is it another 'wait for 2 seasons until someone at Bungie gets around to it'?

I also cannot use /join, it says "Attempting to join fireteam." No error ever pops up...it just never does anything. If I want to join somebody, I have to get invited directly trough steam. No, disabling (and re-enabling) profanity filter or any other chat settings do not fix it

same here, making it very difficult to run NFs with randoms

Yeah, same here, very occasionally works on clan and some channels, but never fireteam. can still use /join and commands etc.

I don’t know which all chats of mine aren’t working, but I definitely know Fireteam chat isn’t working.
