I was excited when when seasonal challenges came out. All of the challenges were reasonable, rewarding and kept getting us closer to getting the payoff of bright dust…up until this week. Having to complete a Grandmaster strike as part of the 75 needed challenges is a load of crap. Grandmaster are designed for the elitists with a small percent of players completing them. Either this goes in line with the constant lack of forward thinking by Bungie or they wanted to alienate a large portion of the community as always. A better way to handle this situation would be to have to complete like 70 of 75 challenges to receive the Large Bright Dust Pile similar to the way Moments of Triumph have been handled. Pretty disappointed.

1 RespuestaFirst four weeks were nice, then on week #5 they decided to go crazy with "Grind 5 major Gambit ranks", and it's just been downhill ever since.

13 RespuestasI love everything about it personally. But you dont have to do the gm. Theres 77 total and you only need 75.

No one is forcing you to do a GM.

Personally, I like the Grandmaster challenge, but I can see why so many people dislike it. This season is the first time I’ve completed a Grandmaster and it’s the only challenge we’ve received so far that I feel is actually challenging.

I thought it was 77 total challenges and you had to complete 75... I hope that's the case. I might not run a GM this season and, from what I read, next week has a challenge to win seven rounds in Trials. Those will be the two challenges I skip if I'm right about the challenges.

2 RespuestasWhat is actually the whole number of challenges, 75 of x? Sometimes there 10 per week sometimes 8. Kinda weird tbh, would be better if we had always 10 per week, so people could really decide what to do and what not.
