Dear Bungie Team,
Keeping Spoils of Conquest tied to the current Raid only is not the incentive you think it is. There are far too many people who do not Raid for a variety of reasons. I humbly suggest that you start adding Spoils of Conquest to other activities where they drop at lower rates that in the Raids. Keep the Raids as you best and most efficient way of getting Spoils of Conquest, but add it as a possible drop from other activities. Running Raids will allow you to farm for the currency the fastest and the easier the other activity, the lower the drop chances will be. My rationale is this, once the Raid enters the DCV after a couple of years, does it really matter how people earn it the the future as it was originally a draw to get someone to play Raids? At that point, how does it really matter how someone grinds for a Raid exotic that has been nerfed multiple times, it is nowhere near the power it once held, and may have limited utility in the game?
Edit:
Everyone who says it was an exotic that was originally in a Raid so the currency to purchase it should remain in the Raid to "respect the grind and effort" it took for you or others to earn it are missing a significant and glaring shortcoming to your logic. That flaw is that there are a significant number of other exotics and weapons in that kiosk that used to be earned from significant quests or activities.
Weapons such as, but not limited to:
Sleeper Simulant - From a quest that involved significant time and effort across multiple activities.
Polaris Lance - From a quest that involved significant time and effort across multiple activities.
Malfeasence - Had to play Gambit to get and defeat a certain Primeval. Then complete a quest that involved significant time and effort across multiple activities.
Lumina - From a quest that involved significant time and effort across multiple activities.
Thorn - From a quest that involved significant time and effort across multiple activities.
Whisper of the Worm - A special, timed mission that took time and effort to learn and master to complete in the allotted time.
Outbreak Perfected - A special, timed mission that took time and effort to learn and master to complete in the allotted time.
The Last Word - From a quest that involved significant time and effort across multiple activities.
This is not to mention the time and effort involved with earning some of those pinnacle weapons such as Redrix, Recluse, Luna's Howl, Mountain Top, and Not Forgotten - All I went and earned before they were "handed" out for purchase with an exotic cipher (easily obtained from Zur), some glimmer, world mats, and masterworking mats in a kiosk.
If you are wondering what my point is of this rebuttal, then here it is: None of you care when those of those of us who do not Raid have all of the time and effort it took us to earn many of those exotic and pinnacle weapons that are now in the kiosk cheapened by the fact that they are there. But, you have issues with exotics from retired activities, that are no different than Whisper or Outbreak, purchasable by having a certain currency obtainable from other sources at a slower rate and longer grind and you now have issues with it. Honestly, each and every one of your are simply hypocrites.
If you earned those exotics and pinnacles as I did, it should frustrate you as much as it does me that your time and effort was cheapened as well. This suggestion is not about handouts, a handout would be putting them in the general loot pools where you find a yellow engram on the ground. It's about the future of this game. Either all exotics and pinnacles from retired activities or quests are treated the same where the kiosk is concerned or the kiosk is removed and the original sources brought back into the game. All I'm asking for is a longer, slower grind for the same resource that is guaranteed in the Raid. The Raid will still be the quickest and most efficient grind. And before you ask; no, I have no interest in doing and wasting my time getting any the Legendary loot in those Raids that, quite frankly, is no better than PvE loot and would be quickly broken down. Should Bungie, someday, actually create Raid loot that is as powerful and play-impacting as they look, I might consider it. But right now; most of it is not worth going after.
If the Raid is as easy as many of you claim - easier than a strike, as one of claimed - Then I'm asking for a longer, harder, and more challenging grind by asking that the payout scale to the difficulty of the activity. The higher the difficulty, the greater the payout. The quicker and more efficient I and my friends are at overcoming the greater challenge, the greater the payout. I'm asking for a challenge worthy of true exotic weapons with game-impacting perks. Not some "easier-than-a-strike" Raid like Deep Stone Crypt and I'm not asking for some lazy glitch farm.
Sincerely,
Proxima77

1 Respuesta1 million yes They destroyed the Pinnacle weapons This raid chest vendor bothers me too There should be solo activities within the raids to aquire these items World of Warcraft have donee this for years ; obviously there has to be a balance between 6 man raid rewards being priority; bungie needs to make an effort for solo players

Difference is, the other guns were quest guns that weren’t in the raid bad such, they don’t cost spoils. If you want the raid guns which were harder to get, then you have to do something that is associated with raids, be ages raids are still in the game

-
1 RespuestaYeah no. You want raid stuff? Go do raids.
-
Spoils are used for raid rewards... you should have to do raids to get raid loot.
All I'm asking for is a longer, slower grind for the same resource that is guaranteed in the Raid. The Raid will still be the quickest and most efficient grind.
That's available right now. It's called the Chest Farm. You, OP, are literally doing the exact thing (judging by the dozens of two-dozen enemy kill incomplete DSC runs each weekly reset) which provides the exact outcome you are asking for. A longer, slower grind for the same resource in the raid without actually doing the Raid.

I think anarchy should be put in the loot pool. Ghallerhorn 2.0

Editado por Jedskibob: 3/18/2021 8:27:04 PMDon't worry freelance raids are coming soon, along with the freelance trials

What Raid exotics have been nerfed multiple times? 1k Voices is still beastly. So are Anarchy, Divinity and Legend of Acrius. Tarrabah has only received buffs (still not good tho). The only one thats been nerfed is Eyes of Tomorrow and that was unintended. I'm not against Spoils potentially being added to Dungeons... but come on man, if you want Raid gear, go Raid.
-
You don't even have to do the whole raid. Just farm one encounter over and over and you're set
-
Just play the raid man,it’s really easy, you just need to understand the mechanics. if you don’t have team just find Discord LFG who can teach you the the whole thing inside the raid mec,Raid is super easy compare to Grand Master anyway and I have all seals raid and 4 conqueror title (currently working on Gilded one)
-
Spoils are working fine .
-
They are not limited to the current raid. You get them from all the raids. Their only uses are to try to get a better roll on current raid gear (or a random chance an item you don’t already have) or get an item from a vaulted raid. If you do not raid you should not get raid gear. PERIOD. You shouldn’t be able to get Anarchy with zero raid clears. I’ll go even further. You shouldn’t be able to buy Anarchy from the kiosk if you didn’t complete Scourge of the Past at least once no matter how many other raids you cleared. I don’t have any trials gear but I don’t play trials. I don’t think there should be a way for me to get that gear. If I decide I want trials gear I’ll just have to go into trials and make an attempt.
-
is a raid item, so you drop it from raids, this is how works
-
1 RespuestaConsidering you can get Spoils from the opening part of DSC and that can be done solo, I think it's already lenient enough
-
1 RespuestaYou should get 100 spoils for loading up a patrol location every week

9 RespuestasSure. Right after they put the Igneous Hammer and all the Trials armor into playlist strikes.
-
Yea ok I want trials guns for patrol rewards then.
-
It’s a raid resource lol
-
You had ample of time to farm those earlier. I was able to get anarchy and other exotics that required spoils and I have never done a dsc raid at all. I’m currently sitting on 240 spoils right now, hoping to buy EoT when it’s goes into the museum. Why, because I keep getting rejected into dsc raids.
-
Thats the thing. Spoils of conquest serve to get RAID loot. Therefore, they should be limited to raids.
-
4 RespuestasDisagree, coming from a player that has earned all the raid exotics except EOT ( at 52 loot clears ) Spoils should only be earned from Raids. I’ll put the exception they should drop from Grandmaster’s also since it’s a high skill activity. Earning enough Spoils gets you an exotic, something that thousands of people grinded for and some who have spent 100+ clears without getting one to drop, If you want the gear, you grind for it. I’ll add to the fact that people getting Raid exotics first time is ridiculous, why does a blueberry get a Raid Exotic first time while I know some people like myself at 52 raid loot clears?
-
Anarchy is the best PvE weapon in the game. If you want it, you’re going to have to farm the DSC chest or hop into raids. They should not change it, I’m sorry.

6 RespuestasLmao , No.

"I have no interest in doing and wasting my time getting any the Legendary loot in those Raids that, quite frankly, is no better than PvE loot and would be quickly broken down". it IS PVE loot, and since you DON'T HAVE ANY RAID WEAPONS you'll NEVER know how good they are in PVE.
