it got sunset bc the base stats were unmatched, well besides spare rations.

Editado por jxsh-wheeler: 3/14/2021 2:10:52 AMIt wasn't specifically sunset, all guns and armour up to season 8 were. It wasn't specifically to get rid of austringer. And as for unmatched; range 60/ palindrome 66, stability 77/palindrome 86, handling 43/ palindrome 55, reload 60/ palindrome 48, aim assist 75/ palindrome 79, recoil direction 100/ palindrome 98. (Bear in mind these are my stats, different perks will change these) Think that's pretty even.

I'd say that's not really a fair assessment using individual rolls to compare the stats of 2 weapons using anything other than their baselines. For reference, here they are:
https://light.gg/db/items/432476743/the-palindrome/ https://light.gg/db/items/2429822977/austringer/
Although Palindrome has access to a different, arguably better, 2nd column of perks for purely better stats and an Adept version as a large advantage to distance itself from old Austringer.

Yeah but my point still stands as your never going to get the baseline as your perks will always change it and since I have pretty decent rolls for both its a good gage of how good they both can be at basically their full potential. And they are pretty even, with palindrome beating it in most of the important stats and being able to use adept mods on the adept version.
