Actually we F'd planets and took them for ourselves. 1. The traveler terraformed them for us to inhabit. 2. They were no ones to claim as is the case in real life 3. The golden age was full of green and clean energy tech. We were literally doing no harm to the planets bar excavating areas.

The traveler didn’t do this for us it was looking for a place to settle to protect itself it transformed everything including earth and let’s not forget that the traveler belonged to the eliksini before us and when they came to take it back we killed them although at the start they didn’t do anything harmful to us

The fallen did nothing to us, because they didn't arrive until after the collapse. At which point they started killing humans and raiding areas for tech. And I say fallen because those were no longer eliksni. And the traveler just so happened to terraform every capable planet and moon with a atmosphere that is viable to humans... Yeah it did that for us and not for itself. It doesn't need a atmosphere as its a machine. It probably did that so humanity could spread out to other planets and moons we can claim as a race. That's true fyi. As a race of humans we can claim a planet but we can't claim it as a sovereignty aka country. So the US can't go to Mars and say, we own this in the name of the US. Its illegal. Its basically, we claim this for human kind.

Mercury has a breathable atmosphere and was a garden world. Titan was a floating city of science and knowlage. Breathable atmo. Mars was the birthplace of knowlage and rasputin. These planets and moons were terraformed all the same as the moon, earth, venus ect.

No, the traveler transformed Mercury into a garden world mate. In the story it says this planet was a paradise before the vex came and Mercury was a garden world already. The vex destroyed it essentially and turned it into one giant machine.
