"No additional infusion caps" doesn't imply that you'll be removing past infusion caps.
I stopped playing the moment sunsetting was announced. I've been out a full year at this point all my gear currently is still going to be void for no reason, I'm no longer invested in Destiny 2 without that loot.
Remove infusion caps, and make a kiosk for Legendary items from Year 1, 2, and 3 for my fellow guardians who deleted their loot.
You've admitted you made your mistake, now fix the problems you created in the process

1 RespuestaThe forums don't like logic so prepare to be insulted and down-voted.
-
2 RespuestasIf they created a kiosk for all the items that have been sunset what will they have to put into the game. The whole idea was for us to work for those items again at some point.
-
3 RespuestasLol no thanks, last thing we need is Revoker, Beloved and MT

3 RespuestasIf it can get up to at least 1310 this season it will not be sunset If it cannot reach 1310 it will stay sunset That is it.
-
3 RespuestasNot happening, they said they’re leaving already sunset weapons behind because they were too meta
-
1 RespuestaI’m not surprised they went this route, but it’s something I can live with.
-
7 Respuestas
You've admitted you made your mistake
That's not what happened. They basically just said they're satisfied with how much gear they left behind, so the cycle will begin anew.
-
5 RespuestasThey can’t backtrack. So many players have deleted sunset gear, it would not be fair. Get over it and be thankful.

58 Respuestas
You've admitted you made your mistake, now fix the problems you created in the process
All they've done is kick the can down the road. Sunsetting WAS the fix for previous mistakes. Bungie just got cold feet because it was unpopular, and they didn't like reaping what they'd sown for five years, in telling people that they could keep their stuff for ever. So intead of sticking with this, and actually FIXING The game? They've fallen off the wagon, and are back to tellling themselves the lie that there is a magic solution out there that will fix power creep without having to retire power from the game. They didn't find it five years ago....and they won't find it now....because it ain't out there TO BE found. But your post actually shows the pointlessness of backing down.

1 RespuestaWhat does completing the quest even do?
-
5 RespuestasYou’re right. And I’m fine with sun setting like that
-
16 RespuestasDestiny has said in many vidocs over the last year this is going to be an mmo and there is no mmo out there where your gear is good forever. Most games its only good for a few months way shorter than Destiny had planned with sunsetting. They are not done they may have reverted sunsetting for now but something will happen, and it might be worse for most of you.

2 RespuestasThey never said they would remove past power caps

5 RespuestasOh well! You are one few who aren't satisfied. You don't even play, so not sure why you are even complaining ?🤷♂️
-
1 RespuestaNobody is doing that . Your pinnacle weapons are not coming back . Bye.
-
5 Respuestasnothing is ever good enough for most of you

1 RespuestaI'm not gonna say you're right or wrong - not my call to make - i have guns i sorely miss too. They've been clear though - Stuff from Season 10 on is fine, everything before is staying capped. I understand your frustration but if it helps, i'm looking at Beyond Light as Destiny 3. At least helps my head get around things.

3 RespuestasI get where u are coming from and respect your position. But for those of us who resigned ourselves to sunsetting and kept enjoying the game, this news is invigorating. But I agree, there should be some way to get your crap back. No way they could ever restore every weapon with every role, but they could make all the sunset junk drop like candy from umbral engrams or something. Or have a terminal where u can purchase random roles cheaply of sunset gear. I see issues with that, but something should be done.

3 RespuestasWhile I still agree with the sentiment of sun setting and attempts to shift the meta every once in a while...it wasn’t good, especially with armor. Recluse mountaintop was too prevalent, and you either have to nerf stuff everyone ina while, or make them obsolete. There’s only so many variants of the same stuff before the pool get saturated.
-
You mean announcing that they will stop -blam!-ing you out of all the weapons and armor you lost that didn’t make you want to jump up and down? Me neither. ✌🏽

9 RespuestasIf we unsunset weapons pre Beyond Light, then guns that were overused like Spare Rations, Beloved and Mindbenders would never slow down. And as much as I love those guns, we should use other weapons. Plus the fact that if they remove sunsetting, Mountaintop and Recluse would dominate PvE and PvP once more, and Revoker would still a plague in PvP.

28 RespuestasHonestly, this news is one of the best since like forever. Do not know what pot Bungie smoking, but they showing some listening. It unusual to them. SO: Sunsseting is stoped. Only 10 lvl to grind for power lvl, shader update, transmog, pvp changes, old subclasses getting buff, major crucible updates are comming. Shut up and take my money

1 RespuestaI don't think they made a mistake just ended it earlier then expected. They got rid of most of the old gear, giving any new weapons they make room to shine as well as plenty of things that can now be reprised. Way I see it sunsetting was stalling till a plan could be made. Either the end of d2 is planned now or they have some idea of an overhaul that will make sunsetting unneeded.
