8000 mod components? How did you get that many? You referring to gunsmith materials?

No, actual mod components. I accumulated a ton when we had the old mod system for weapons and armor and when I deleted those mods I got components. Plus I have played pretty religiously for years and I get them dropping from doing Banshee bounties and sometimes from deleting armor or weapons. It adds up over time.

Well time to just spend some time turning them in because I barely have 500 because i buy mods every week never got spammed with them. I don't think a lot of players have that many components so Bungie is unlikely to add a delete stack especially for a stack of 1k.

Problem is when you alleady own every mod (like i and many others do) they become useless. I own just 895 mod components, but truly just let them sit in my inventory. they take up one slot, and mayby they wil be usefull later on. To be honest, they drop very rare for me.
