Average play time, active player numbers etc also gets recognised. Extending play time is trick Bungie has been using to inflate the numbers in the reports which (without proper context) can be interpreted as potential customers (for F2P players) and for paid players they'd presented as a sign that they are doing something right (even though it doesn't mean that). That's why it's important that stop paying isn't enough as whales pays enough for Bungie that they don't need you to specifically buy something they just need to keep whales happy. Single Dragon Ball emote made reddit go crazy again for the new season, while players like that exists it becomes more than just showing earnings. (wait 1 month and check again though, they are always like this over there)
