WHY DO DUSKFIELD GRENADES PULL YOU IN AT MACH 5 VELOCITY?
I love being 10m away from the impact zone of a duskfield grenade but still get sucked into it's black hole-like gravitational field, pulling me into it at the speed of a military fighter jet.
Its bad enough that when in inside, they prevent you from double jumping, using a class ability, reduce gun accuracy, and slow you down to the speed of a newborn baby.
I have never seen a grenade more oppressive. Suppressor grenade should be the only grenade disabling abilities. When you're stuck inside a duskfield grenade, you might as well beg for mercy because there's nothing you can do.
My suggestion, get rid of the gravitational pull of a red giant sun that the duskfield grenade has. The grenade should reward people who land the grenade at an opponent's feet. Not 8 year old Jimmy throwing a hail marry and finding that the entire team was sucked into it's epicenter and frozen.

Just don’t jump in the direction of the pull or worse use any momentum boost like icarus dash or titan charged melees... you will hit the wall so hard you can watch your body bounce off the wall and fly across the map into the distance

I wish I had the same as the ones you see. Enemies Duskfield: rips you out of the sky at mach 5 instantly and holds you in place so you can't move whatsoever. My Duskfield: may gently tug you in if you consent but if you don't, it'll just sit there for cosmetic reasons and wont do anything else.

It’s absolutely broken in PvP but it’s perfect in PvE. In PvE, I think it’s fine because it feels powerful against enemies as should every grenade for how long they take to charge. I hate how Destiny has to be so torn between the two. Love the game but man it gets frustrating sometimes.

Been saying duskfield is more busted then glacial wall since stasis has been out. Easy kills for brainless passives that are incapable of engagement.

On the plus side. If you anticipate the grenade and time the jump right it launches you at Mach 11. I have personally been trying to perfect the jump so I can use the grenade they throw to get out of shitty spots. Ultimate No U.

Slows need to be toned back. They last like 4 seconds with the fragment and debilitate you in so many ways. A slow is almost worse than a freeze now because if I’m frozen at least I get a 50% reduction in primary while my teammate saves me. Snow globe grenades are ridiculous. They shouldn’t pull you from outside the range especially not by as far as they do now.

Can you not shoot to begin with? When i get sucked in i usually kill the guy that tossed it still. Also try moving around the map sometime?

1 RespuestaThey need to let players use their jump abilities while being slowed by Stasis, or at least while in the Duskfield Grenade. I don't want them to get rid of the pull effect since it helps the grenade in PvE.

I actually had a funny experience with one, the guy threw it and at the same time I double jumped towards it and it sent me flying across the map

I think the better question is, why can it pull you in further than most high explosives can kill/ damage? If it can't freeze you, it shouldn't be able to pull you.
