If its forced with no way to opt out this game for us console players population will die.
The best idea for creating a better cross play experience would be opt out for pc cross play. But still allow PlayStation and xbox cross play.
-
I already play much less pvp cus of stasis (just hate it). Be interesting to see wot happens if cross play is also added.
-
Yup, i mean COD has that option. Why doesnt bungie do the same?
-
Agreed. Forcing players will be a big mistake.
-
100% agree. Let crossplay be opt out and still have playstayion and Xbox crossplay. Bc fps, superior movement and mnk far outweigh the small benefit of pc players in the console pool. For pve full crossplay is fine but in all pvp modes it should be opt out against mnk.

9 RespuestasThis fear of facing pc players is laughable, I play on pc and I use a controller. The experience is barely any different than console apart from pc players using nothing but hand cannons. I do fairly well against mouse players and even have a decent K.D, there is nothing to fear. Will your games suddenly get a bit more sweaty? Yeah but you will also get games where even with a mouse, those guys will move like slogs waiting to get slaughtered. The only issue console players will truly feel is the potential of cheaters which is a massive issue on pc, Those guys are always playing trials but they rarely ever show up on regular casual modes. Bungie needs to remove free to play and simply make a better anticheat and everything will be fine.

1 RespuestaYeah question. Why do people not want a OPT in OPT out system?
-
If crossplay is not opt out I’ll just play less crucible than I already do.
-
Editado por Chunk: 2/4/2021 3:44:33 PMI don't see why bungie would change stability for mnk if it was going to be an option, its been that way for 3 years. Bungie you need to look at more then stability, mnk players still won't go for stability rolls on weapons giving them better weapons, mnk players have way better movement ie: slide backwards or slide from a dead stop, frame rate ps5/Xbox x 120fps in crucible most tv's don't 120hz like monitors do, it's 60hz and pcs can achieve higher frame rates then 120hz, 144hz plus, key bindings vs controller not even close look and flick speed. Not even going to bring up cheating. Traction is almost mandator for better players on controller taking up a mod slot to where mnk can use a double scav. Idk what impact opt in cross play will bring but it if its an option most console players will not opt in and no option as in mandatory will hurt PvP period. Make good choices..

1 RespuestaThey'll force on to everyone as the population is horrible It will drop even more after that Silly Bungie..they always say that they are listening to the community lol
-
just jumped on PC for first time in 3 or 4 weeks... to play trials with a group of people who asked me to help. first game: 1 person has bans on record.... 100% headshot kill accuracy the past 4 games.... He killed all of us every round. yay PC
-
Don’t forget Stadia players! There are a few of those still I think!
-
To be cleared I honestly don’t mind versing PC players it’s the cheaters invading console that will be there problem. Although nobody really likes to mention this game anymore (nor do I), Fortnite I believe only groups you based on who is in your fireteam. So if you have only PlayStation, you will only verse PlayStation, but if you have Xbox and PlayStation, then they combine. I believe that’s how it worked and how I hope it functions in Destiny. I also don’t think no opt out crossplay for PvE wouldn’t be a problem but PvP I can see the cheaters rising.
-
1 RespuestaAssuming there are no cheater and it’s only between new gen consoles and pc, it’s gonna be fair and even for pretty much everyone
-
4 RespuestasCross play has and will always be opt in opt out system. Please learn how it works before whinging about something that's not a problem

2 Respuestasor else what?

1 RespuestaEditado por 1231387234674236: 2/4/2021 9:32:58 PMCrossplay bruh You all are delusional its hackers you don't want, I Started with console D1 then turned to PC with controller at the beginning of D2 and never felt the least disadvantage its hackers you dont want
-
8 RespuestasAre you afraid to get wet?
-
4 RespuestasI can all but guarantee there won't be opt-out. Individual platform populations are too low to give the kind of diverse numbers Bungie is desperate for. And as we all know very clearly by now, player experience is not a factor in these kinds of decisions - just numbers & data.
-
>:D get ready for the pain LOL

5 RespuestasPC players are trash just saying

1 RespuestaWhy don't they do cross play with m/k users in one lobby, and controller users in another? Not perfect, but a better solution than sending controller users in like lambs to the slaughter. Mobility, turn speed, double scavenger, separate ads and turn speed adjustments, all crazy good on m/k....
-
Population won't die most people won't notice a difference.
-
If they can’t separate the sand boxes after 6 years (almost 7) what makes you think they’ll separate that?
