No, they do not explode. You have to let the button go, that's the whole purpose of holding/releasing the button. They are taking that away, and they will explode on contact no matter what, which defeats the purpose of that type of gl.

Ok so after testing in the trostland the only enemy I could bounce a grenade off of was the large captain from the heroic glimmer extractor. Everything else exploded on impact regardless of if I was holding the trigger or not. The grenades I could bounce off that captain did explode on contact though if I didn't hold the trigger. Well I could also bounce the waveframes but that's to be expected. So they may just be making them consistent for all enemies.

Editado por whateverman7: 2/1/2021 6:08:16 AMDid the gl you test have proximity? Ask cause that perk will cause them to explode. On ones without that, if you hold the trigger, it will not explode on contact. It will bounce right off. Just used fighting lion to do a bounty and tested it myself to be sure. Then removing that is insulting to me as a gamer. The mechanic is not 'too challenging' as they said.

I didn't bother to test the proximity. I think mine have blinding, implosion, and spike. Thing is first thing I tried was the fighting lion, exploded on impact with all the enemies I shot. Only bounce I got was the giant captain from the public event while using the white launcher you can pull from collections that I thin has blinding grenades. If I held the trigger they bounced off him, if I didn't they exploded on contact, same gun same enemy. So I reinforce the fist thing I said all launchers explode on impact as long as you don't start the self detonation feature. Just tap the trigger like your trying to get a single round out of a auto rifle. Except waveframes they always bounce but that's because their mechanic don't work till they hit the floor.
