People want sun setting gone, and still you ignore the elephant in the room.
Personally, and I've said this before, something had to change, sun setting was the easiest and laziest option you could've chosen, it says more about the culture at Bungie than any tweet, post, or dev blog ever will. The sooner you get the Netease commitment done the better, Destiny is dying because you are juggling too many balls.
All you had to do was bite the bullet and just take Moutaintop out of the game, maybe Recluse too or rework it, hell make all the pinnacles that weren't broken exotics, anything but this, people would still have moaned and cried about Mountain top and Recluse but it wouldn't be anything like the community discontent sun setting caused, re tune damage and reload perks, hell you could even have made meaningful armour sets that gave bonus to underused or useless perks, anything but sun setting.
But no, you took the easiest and laziest option.

You guys have no idea how lucky you are that the core gun play even after six years holds up so well, because most of the other stuff in the game is beyond parody.
PS The Tangled shore bounties "STILL" don't give the XP they are supposed to, another thing to add to the list problems you seem unable to fix.

“You guys have no idea how lucky you are that the core gun play even after six years holds up so well, because most of the other stuff in the game is beyond parody.” * * That pretty much says what I have been thinking. If it wasn’t for the excellent gun play in this game, I think a lot of players would already have jumped ship.

I know it's the only reason I'm still here, if Borderlands had Destinys gun play I'd be gone so fast the dust cloud would be visible for days.

Ain’t that the truth. * Yup, despite Bungie’s insistence on slowly killing their own game, the gun play is addicting. I sure hope Outriders (even though it is a 3rd person game) captures that gun play.

It's the same engine as Gears of War so it will be ok, but not Destiny level.

Editado por zmach1: 1/29/2021 4:27:36 AMEven the good shooters rarely achieve Destiny gun play. I can accept a bit less of that gun play if the special powers are cool and the loot is actually a loot pool and not Destiny’s loot puddle. I did hear some of the original Destiny team was working on Outriders.
