Oh, no, it's a lot more than that for sure, and even if they undo the damage they caused it won't change anything at all. The entire game needs to be properly updated, and this company not doing so has caused what players that have left to either take a really long break or they are not coming back, that not even the new light system is helping this company.

2 Respuestas(X) Doubt Removing Sunsetting will not bring back the player base. That is so wrong and misleading. Even if you had your precious Mountaintop that wouldn't change the bad seasonal content with the Lure an entice you to play more. Really wish people would use common sense and realize that the content drip is more of an issue than Sunsetting. So you can't use a few weapons boo hoo. Can literally do all seasonal content in 2 weeks, that's a problem.

33 RespuestasDaily Reminder I'm still playing. So are all of my friends. Sunsetting really isn't that big of a deal. Next season looks like it will be super fun. VoG is coming soon, Transmog, New Nightfalls, activity specific loot, who knows what they haven't announced yet, and another expansion next holiday. Keep up the Great Work Bungie ! What really has been pissing the hell out of me, and I'm very evil, my gear sunsets. OK get new gear. BUT all the 'new' gear I get with semi decent stats, and still sucks compared to what I have, is on something that will be sunset in a few weeks! [b]WHERE THE HELL IS THE NEW STUFF TO REPLACE OUR GOOD STUFF? NO WHERE! THEY FORGOT TO MENTION THEY ALSO SUNSET HIGH ROLLED STAT GEAR![/b] I did mentioned this pisses me off right?!?!?!

The idea of sunsetting and the concept sounds ok in theory, it's just the way how they implemented it which falls behind. Let's assume they undo all that, for a moment. There would be no motivation at all to hunt for new gear, especially for long time players who always ride the it's-not-better-than-what-I-already-have, so-it-sucks train. And times and the past, in both games btw, has proven this. As an example: the DSC weapons are fantastic and show how new stuff can sliglty replace old weapons, just by players choice. Yet, you can't run around and throw weird and op perks on every gun and call it "different" and a day, so you finally switch from your Ikelos shotgun to the one from the DSC. Wasn't Luna a perfect example of how to changes peoples mind to "swap" their years old handcannon to a new one and yet forcing problems nonstop because it was outright broken? Yes it was. While this was crucible specific problem, it affected everyone, especially for quests etc. And we had stuff like that in D1 where Bungie finally decided to sunset Gijallarhorn with Year 2, The Taken King, which was for the better in any way. People think it's easy to create new things without breaking the current systems. I still doubt that and I'm glad I'm not working in a studio with tight deadlines.

3 RespuestasYeah no, there's a much longer list of problems that are much worse. Sunsetting was a much need change for the game and was a necessary evil. The meta as a whole was stale and barely changed during D2's three years without sunsetting. New players will not be bothered by this at all.

Wrathborn Hunts were [b][i]not[/i][/b] it, chief. Edit: I actually misspelled Guardian and my autocorrect didn't catch it. I blame the Vex.
