Anybody else not a fan of Hawkmoon random rolls?
I really don’t like the precedent of putting rng on top of exotics. One of the better things about them and what separates them from legendary gear is consistency. Take gjallarhorn, how awesome was getting that drop? Now imagine the possibility of sh#t rolls on it. If Hawkmoon is not a unique case then I won’t know what makes destiny destiny anymore, cause it’ll definitely be an unremarkable looter shooter party game from then on out.

Seriously, they need to nerf that tree branch at the beginning of the mission. Tried to go flawless and ended up dying like 6 times and restarting the mission. The tree branch in harbinger mission is the new forklift in SRL. Change my mind.

I'm personally a fan. I like that you can get "your" Hawkmoon. It's not like it substantially alters what the substance of the weapons is intended to be (Hawkmoon +skill -luck of D2).

I have only gotten 4 rolls so far... 3 hip fire and 1 quick draw. Followed by 5 runs of not getting anything... so yeah there's that.

6 RespuestasI for one hate the idea and think it leads to Sunsetting exotics. I also had even less interest in Hawkmoon cause it's still outclassed by basically almost every handcannon. It's a sad shell of the once amazing D1 Hawkmoon.

4 RespuestasYeah, I’m not a fan and I really hope they don’t continue it in the future. I’m not on board with the idea that the standard roll of an exotic isn’t the best roll possible. In my opinion there’s already too many layers of rng with gear. We don’t need it added to exotics as well.

This won’t be the only exotic that gets this “special” treatment It’s bungles of getting you to run mission over and over again just to get a decent roll I’ll take a hard pass on that shite

Random rolls on an exotic and a targeted location to farm it is the first step in actually being more like a looter. All they would have to do is make a curated roll for their version of the best roll.

I actually like it. Wouldn't mind for other exotics in the future, so long as they had their own dedicated quest for them too so we could farm them.

I have gotten 8 and two had acceptable rolls, yet all had garbage barrel perks. Super irritating. I got the ship so I am done farming for better rolls

Yeah don't care for it either. I mean as soon as they said it wasn't the same d1 hawkmoon I stopped caring and random rolls? Nah I sharded it as soon as I got it. Haven't even finished harbinger once and most likely won't.

I like this approach because people can use the one with a perk they prefer, some like opening shot, others like killing wind or range, only reason people want it fixed is they font want anyone getting any advantage because they can't use perks others can so they want everyone on the same

Got Hip Fire last week, not sure I’ve ever deleted an exotic so fast. 🙄 Also not sure I’ll bother to try again—I agree that RNG in exotics should not be a thing.
