Bungie didn’t touch these at all really. I play tested them and instead of killing 7 meters outside of the grenade, they kill from 6. This grenade still one shots most supers. Take the damage out, this grenade has enough utility as a wall and freezing grenade.

7 RespuestasIt does what a Titan barricade does, plus it explodes, activates faster, activates at an indicated distance, freezes enemies, and provides buffs depending on your skills. Seems balanced.

I've been saying this whole time that the problem was with glacial grenades not shatter dive. It spawns 5 large crystals and each deals roughly 60 damage across 10 meters, meaning a total of 300 damage which is more than enough to kill any super. Nerfing shatter dive just means hunters will be replaced by cryoclasim titans. All they had to do was remove 1 crystal and add a damage gradient like all other grenade instead of, your dead or you take no damage at all.

19 RespuestasSee but smaller changes are better than larger ones. I for one enjoy having something that is good stay at least usable. I don’t even use glacier grenades. But nerfing everything that can kill you just makes for a not fun game. That’s what happens with year 1 of D2.

Question who at Bungie was like ya Arc Bolt Grenades 90 damage. Incendiary grenade 150 with huge damage fall off. Then like Glacial Grenade 2000.....
