Even the changes for the Vendors aren't respecting player's time. By Resetting your Rank, you get an Ascendant Shard. Two things wrong with this reward. First, remember that stupid Dawning Community event we did a few weeks back? Everyone was upset because the reward was just a Grandmaster Nightfall reward that everyone could've done much quicker than the event. Same thing here. What's going to take longer to do? A Grandmaster Nightfall, or Resetting your Crucible Rank? Second, I don't know about everyone else, but I'm already sitting on a bunch of Ascendant Shards. Why don't I use them to upgrade my gear? Because there's very little point to invest those resources into Armor that becomes obsolete in a year. And what about the free Exotic for every Reset after? Again, I don't know about everyone else, but most people already have all the Exotics in the game. So there's little to no incentive to keep Resetting your Rank.
