Sorry, It doesn't show that at all. It actually shows how this company didn't want to put any real effort into this game. This is what happens when companies take on other IPs and from the rumor going around Bungie has more than Matter going on right now, and the community doesn't care that they are funding that IP or their other projects and not this game where the resources should actually be?
Think about this for a moment, 3 years left of this game that we know of. Only one major "expansion" a year, the rest of the content is stupid seasonal content we have to pay $10 extra just to get a tiny bit of loot added to the game. Meanwhile, the shop is making 300+ million a year and Bungie's idea of creating content is to constantly use the copy and paste work with IB loot, Season events like Dawning, etc... have us run through old missions/quest calling it "new content' for the new player's sake, and thinks that is acceptable.
This game is a huge mess that it's actually broken in every aspect of it, and players only care about the stupid ornaments, triumphs, shaders, etc.. junk loot? this is what the community has come down to, is this a joke, am I dreaming that the community is this far gone that it's at the point of no return?

Followed into Destiny 1 (a game I’ve bought 3 times on 3 different platforms) - even then there was a noticeable change on the forums (moderation & playerbase interaction) Then into D2 (even after the D2 Beta/Y1 debacle) There was hope with D2 Year 2....but my Guardian should have sunset avenging Cayde-6 & Forsaken (the fitting tribute to the last great Bungie content) throughout the last few years of Destiny 2, the company/staff/political/social stance has crept into the game (it’s a god damn game - I don’t need no virtue signalling!) They are thoroughly greedy & just don’t care about the playerbase

The game has been put on coasting life support. Right now it's about milking as much from eververse as they can while spending as little as possible.

It’s defo on DNR Or at least Prolonged Mechanical Ventilation (PMV) There’s a substantial costs, both human and financial, of some medical advances. Many patients die protracted deaths while being kept alive by machines, which, research shows, they would [i]not[/i] have chosen had there been adequate communication about their options beforehand. (patients who are provided with a full range of information about their prognosis and treatment options choose to receive less technological intervention than those placed on the default treatment path.) but the pharma companies are making a mint from the grieving family! Using that cash to invest in further technology for other markets I’m sure that Bungie stated that Eververse money was being returned into Destiny to pay for special content (quests/missions etc) Fairly sure that stopped after Zero Hour 🤔 Let’s let that sink in

We dont get vanguard weapons from vanguard rank ups. We dont get crucible related gear from turning in crucible tokens. They have sunsetted and immediately reissued several weapons already. Loot pool is so shallow that you get the same things from banshee, Zavala, Shaxx, Drifter, and Hawthorne. You get Gambit weapons from everyone now. I got a Lonesome from Eva, Nightwatch from Shaw Han, same from Zavala None of our tower vendors have any exclusive gear anymore. We have 4 obsolete locations right now... even Devrim and Failsafe give sunsetted gear. Bungie did not sunset those weapons to make room for new weapons, they are still in the game and can still be used. We are getting 25-30 new weapons every season regardless. Nothing went away, the whole idea is Redundant I would say sunsetting is a failure.

The loot we have been getting has been weak at best. No incentive to even chase what we end up dismantling thousands of times because of the thousands of duplicates just to look for a somewhat decent roll? Yeah, This Bungie has to do a hell of a lot better than what they are doing now because it has become a joke and a bad one at that.

I just got a Gnawing Hunger to drop from killing an HVT Brig on Europa. A Gambit gun, on Europa. The loot pool is that small right now.
