1st of they are very easy to use it takes 1 crit and 2 body to kill 4 resilence and under and 2 crit 1 body to kill any resilence guardian
some of 120 rolls can get dmg fall off that starts at 50m
you can aim for the pp at 50m and still get crits
any dmg boosting buff turns it into .5 ttk with ONLY 2 crits which is probably easiest thing to pull off on them
they flinch twice more than any other weapon in the game while also being able to roll high cals/explosive/timed payload for even more flinch and range which allow them to even duel in the open with ease
also there is no point to use other HC archetypes when there is so massive range and ease of use difference and abysmal ttk difference between 140 and 120 will make it so you will trade 90% of the time in optimal 140 range
so my proposed nerfs
revert their rpm to 110 so other archetypes have chance to compete against them
cap dmg fall off range at 40m, 50m fall off range on some rolls is just absurd no HC should have that much range while also being easiest one to use

5 RespuestasUse Glacialclasm aka Erentil 2.0 or some other fusion. The people using 120s tend to try and get angles on you for constant fire so they expose themselves often and don't expect to get deleted. Good fusions right now in PvP are Glacialclasm, Merciless, and Jotunn.

PvP winers... need to be townd down Next update Due to an issue We have removed pvp from the game

3 RespuestasI got sick and tired of being team shot by everyone attached at the hip using 120s rolling in crowds, so I went and bought the jotuun off the exotic wall, and went and grabbed my redrix from my collections..so far the salt mail is rich.

1 RespuestaGet over it. 110/20s have NEVER been meta. Ever. And last week in trials was the first time in a long time A primary was actually used more than any Special weapon. Now that’s what you want to see. Everyone’s always complaining about shotguns and snipers being used too much. Well here’s your answer A Primary. You can’t have it both ways.
-
7 RespuestasThey should NOT be needed to the ground, just no, they don’t have the highest TTK, but the range is way to high, base should be about 38-40, some others are just too good.
-
1 RespuestaNo the damage is fine as is. Nerf range a bit and they’ll be in a solid spot IMO

Editado por Dredgen Araphel: 1/16/2021 8:54:16 PMThe increase in rpm was unnecessary and the effective range increase on top broke them. In my opinion I say let them keep everything they have but be a 90 rpm like Erianas vow. They can still be a 2 tap head 3 body with less forgiveness. Timed payload has no falloff, rangefinder increases the effectivd range , and the effective range increase from the buff broke this archetype. Either a 110 or 90. Slow fire with devastating damage and range.

Agreed. Range needs toned down. It shouldn’t hit at scout rifle ranges.

3 RespuestasTrials this weekend. Top primary in kills HC with 4.4 millions kills 2nd primary in kills Pulse rifle wirh 400k kills People say its fine. That stat is the opposite of balance. Yes, a lot of it is 120’s. But if you add up the 140’s, they are 2 times the pulse by themselves.

Editado por JazzyPaladin477: 1/15/2021 11:20:13 PMWhat’s wrong with a pistol having more range then a high impact pulse? Seems legit.
-
2 RespuestasI still prefer 140s and 180s. Namely Thorn and Malfeasance.
-
On PC? Yes. Just tone down the range a bit tbh and theyll be great

2 RespuestasYou're probably ready for another hardlight meta 🤮

-
No. 120s are fine. They're finally usable.
-
Just wait until all these nerf herders discover high impact pulse rifles....

8 RespuestasEditado por Beagler: 1/15/2021 9:39:50 AMI find HCs satisfying to use because like you said I have to AIM. Regardless of how easy you think it might be to hit 2 crit 1 body etc I still have to aim. There are other weapons that dont require such aiming. During the AR meta, a lot of players were just holding down the trigger and getting rewarded. Players were getting consistent ttks just by hitting general body shots and random head shots.
-
The range on handcannons just needs to be cut in half... thing is it probably won’t make too much difference because of map design
-
3 RespuestasI keep telling people this but 110 hc were always good but guess what? Everyone wanted to crutch their waking vigil, spare rations, and dire promise and now 150s are gone. Now they gotta use something else and they finally realized lol
-
4 RespuestasIt’s not just the gun, it’s the maps. There are very few lanes to use the longer range weapons on. 120s just fit perfectly within most map’s longest ranges. Charge with light + Rampage/kill clip is just nutty on them though. Which is why those 120s got removed from the loot pool. It’s Felwinters all over again. I’m going free to play next season and not giving Bungie a dime until they can show me they care about pvp.

2 RespuestasEhm 340 Pulse Rifles kill faster? Side Arms kill way faster less range okay but that is logical. Actually a lot of guns kill faster. Other thing... Arbalest you shoot 2 meters left or right the pp and it is still a head shot. 2 clan mates used 600 speed AR’s again because they struggled with lag and hand cannons. They found AR’s more consistent/ forgiving. Another thing. Primaries that fire quicker then hand cannons stagger snipers way more.
-
Better a 120 than a 600 auto rifles possibly having a faster ttk than a hvy machine gun....lol
-
13 RespuestasEditado por Tis-but-a-scratch: 1/14/2021 8:08:36 PMWhile I agree. Be warned, the downvote crowd and “skilled” hand cannon users are about to show up in mass. People telling me that other weapons have a quicker time to kill.... whatever.
-
3 RespuestasI say put their rpm back to 110 but leave range. It was slightly overturned this season
-
55 RespuestasImagine complaining about the slowest killing weapon in the game. You must be real bad at the game to do that.
