I want to know what people actually mean by this. There are already plenty of differences between PvE and PvP, but you want what? A different game?
Solar nades leave AoEs in PvE, but just explode in PvP? All pulse rifles are identical? Power weapons are specific, generic map pickups? Guns have different RoF only in PvP?
Please, be specific because I’ve been hearing this for over 6 years and absolutely *no one* has ever explained how they’d go about it. Just the constant “separate the sandboxes!!!!!!!” from armchair developers.

Separate sandboxes would mean freezing pve enemy’s would be the original 4sec where as in PvP it would be last then a second type a deal.

What they mean for example would be Redrix. While Desperado is active in PVE specifically, it's damage is reduced by 20%. Otherwise, in general, basically every single PVP buff/ nerf, even changes that show PVP numbers specifically in the patch notes, these changes affect PVE as well. If they nerfed for example Sturm's Overcharge rounds so it can't OHK people (I think I saw it do +200 damage) when combined with Hedrons, that's quite a bit of damage lost. I think Overcharge rounds crit for over 160 damage, if they nerfed it so it couldn't OHK people at maxed resilience with Hedrons (they'd probably nerf it to OHK below 70), that's a noticeable drop in PVE. It'll still be doing a lot of damage, but some enemies might survive an extra shot.

Um..... Nova warp nerf. It’s absolutely effin’ useless since they nerfed it due to Crucibabies
-
It wasn't used in PvE even before the nerfs.
-
Yes it was. Not quite as much as others but it was still an effective ad clear super....... Now it literally is not used at all. NOBODY uses it. Anything is better than 0%. They literally killed the super completely because I’m of PvPansies crying.
-
Yea that’s a piss off... even being a PvP player it sucks... I don’t really understand why it was nerfed so hard when other supers were (at the time) stronger.... It just falls in line with the meme “oh warlocks have something good!? Fing nuke it!!”

An example of what people are talking about would be what happened to Hard Light. Bungie lowered the damage from the ricochet bullets but only in PvP. This prevented the gun from becoming too weak in PvE. Stuff along those lines.
