It worked fine for me? Finished it without a single glitch. Am I lucky or something?

That all depends, did you do it solo or with other people? The more people you have in your fireteam the more likely it is to bug out and force you to go to orbit and restart, the two major ways it bugs out with having more people is that you are more likely to push him past a damage checkpoint and he doesn't teleport away like he should preventing the mission from being completed and needing to be restarted and the second being that with more people firing someone ends up shooting the ball he leaves behind to soon and the ball goes immune and being unable to damaged to be opened to go into the ascendant realm requiring you to once again reset the mision.

I beat it on my 1st try. Only issue i had was the jumping part

Yes. Took me 6 attempts The high celebrant would not leave sometimes. He would just stand there and do nothing. If you killed him, you would have no way of completing the mission. When he finally would leave to the ascendant plane, the ball of residual energy could not be destroyed on several occasions.

Off... I didn’t get the ship, but apparently, the ship is random drop. Oh well. I still can try on my hunter this week for round 2.
