The ninja were considered cowards with no honor, who hid in shadows rather than fight in the light. In a time when warriors were considered more than fighters, the ninja were just assassins. Lowest of the low. Why they are glamorized as something other than the sneaky, underhanded women and children killers is such a mystery to me.
